    摘要: An object of this invention is to provide an improved means of water treatment effectiveness. The invention strips floating and sinking particulates from flowing water with netting and inclined settling cells, which are arranged in an overlapping fashion to save treatment space. The effluent invert is virtually level with the influent invert to minimize pressure loss. The device pre-treats water for further treatment by filtering methods and among other application is ideally suited for applications where low depth profile treatment is beneficial or required.

    摘要: The apparatus is an underground reservoir to capture and slowly release stormwater runoff from impervious surfaces such as roads, rooftops, and parking areas. The structure is assembled from one or more modules comprising at least two side by side precast fiber reinforced concrete vaulted shaped chambers, each with side walls and an arch top. The side by side chambers have common walls with openings in the walls. Modules placed end to end are mated at reinforced concrete end walls that include lifting pins for moving the module. Ends of the chambers are closed, but the end walls have openings for feeding stormwater in and venting air out.

    摘要: The apparatus is a surface water purifying catch basin which uses a lamella separator to separate out fine sediment and a separate chamber to trap heavy debris, oil, and floating debris. The surface water enters an inlet chamber which is separated from a settling chamber by a divider wall that has a lower opening between the chambers and a higher overflow. The inlet chamber traps floating contaminates and those that are heavier than the water. The opening between the chambers permits the surface water to flow into and through the lamella separator. The catch basin exit is from the settling chamber, but the water can reach the exit only through the lamella separator that separates out the fine sediment in the water. All of the accumulated contaminates can be removed through access holes in the top of the catch basin.

    摘要: The invention is a particle and sediment filter for stormwater. A long permeable filter bag is laid out horizontally within an enclosure. The bag is formed of at least two layers of parallel tubes that give each layer the pleated look of a typical air mattress. Stormwater is collected from the filter bag by perforated pipes held within the creases between the tubes of the layers of the bag, with the pipes draining to the outside of the enclosure. The bag is also supported above the bottom of the enclosure by additional perforated pipes located within the creases between the tubes, thus allowing the filtered liquid to also drain off beneath the bag. The stormwater input is from a pipe that feeds a manifold formed in the bag and connected to each tube. The top of the enclosure is removable for replacing the filter. The filter bags are constructed of flexible material so that they are flat during initial transport and installation, but they expand as they are filled with liquid and solid material. An assembly of the bags also includes straps for holding the perforated pipes in place against the tubes and for lifting the bag with trapped sediment.

    摘要: A stacker for moving stone or other such material to the top of a pile by use of an endless belt conveyor. A long section of conveyor is rigged with converging suspension cables along its length to enable lifting the conveyor from a single point. With one end anchored and lifting near the center, the conveyor loading simulates static conditions as the other end is lifted above the discharge point. The central lift point is located at the top of a single mast which is leaned toward the anchored end of the conveyor. The combination of the angled mast and suspended conveyor section results in vector forces which give the assembly superior balance and stability and yields a conveyor support structure which is less costly and much lighter than previous designs.
