摘要: A method of rehabilitating a network of underground water conduits having at least one lateral opening and a membrane for that purpose is disclosed. The method comprising the steps of blocking and sealing the at least one lateral opening with a membrane impregnated with a hardening resin positioned over the at least one lateral opening, and allowing the resin to harden thereby forming a rigid membrane over the at least one lateral opening.

摘要: The invention relates to a pipeline lining material for use for at least two, preferably three, predefined pipeline nominal widths, comprising an elastic round knitted material, which is knitted under pretension so as to contract to an untensioned diameter of +/−10% of the smallest predefined pipeline nominal width after being knitted, and comprising an elastically flexible film tube arranged around the round knitted material. The pipe lining material can be expanded by at least 50% in the transverse direction under a pressure of maximally 0.7 bar, at which the untensioned round knitted material maximally has a diameter that is reduced by 55% compared to the round knitted material under pretension.

摘要: A pipe-liner system for lining a pipe and methods of use thereof. A continuous, eversible extended liner is formed from a pipe-liner attached to an extender-tube via a substantially leak-proof connection there between. Lengths of the extender-tube and the pipe-liner are each chosen so that the pipe-liner is caused to be accurately positioned within the pipe upon everting the extended liner into the pipe by a pressurized fluid. The pipe-liner is held against an interior surface of the pipe being lined by inserting an inflatable bladder into the extended liner and filling the bladder with pressurized fluid. When a resin in the pipe-liner has hardened, the bladder is removed and the extender-tube is detached from the pipe-liner.

摘要: A method for filling a gap with a filler material, enabling prevention of inflow of the filler material into an air removing tool through its opening before complete removal of air from the gap, and enabling uniform filling of the gap with the filler material. The gap is between an existing conduit and a lining material provided inside the existing conduit. The method includes: inserting an air removing tool into an air removing hole bored through the lining material, and bringing a leading end face of the air removing tool into contact with the inner circumferential surface of the existing conduit; and injecting the filler material into the gap while expelling air from the gap through a leading end of the air removing tool, the air removing tool including, at its leading end, an air removing portion through which air is discharged.

摘要: A continuous fabric for use in forming a repair liner for reinforcing a pipe. The fabric includes a top layer and one or more bottom layers. The width of the top layer is less than the width of the continuous fabric and the density of the top layer is less than the density of at least one of the at least one or more bottom layers. The top layer may serve as a guide for winding the fabric in an overlapping pattern about a mandrel so that the essentially only the top layer is visible in the fabric winding.

摘要: The present invention relates to printing blankets, pipe liners, conveyor belts, inflatable articles, collapsible containers, protective clothing, and other types of coated fabrics that are manufactured with a thermoplastic block copolymer (TBC). This TBC can be a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), a copolyester (COPE), a copolyamide (COPA) or a polyurethaneurea (TPUU). The subject invention more specifically discloses a printing blanket or printing sleeve and a cured in place liner for a passageway or pipe. The TBC is (I) the reaction product of (1) a hydrophobic polyol or polyamine, (2) a polyisocyanate or an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, and (3) a linear chain extender containing 2 to 20 carbon atoms, or (II) the reaction product of (1) a hydrophobic polyol or polyamine, and (2) a carboxyl terminated telechelic polyamide sequence.
