    摘要: A wearable device for assisting in the movement of lower limbs that includes an anchor component configured to encircle the torso of a user and be supported by the shoulders through a harness/suspender that provides both postural support and proprioceptive input. The wearable device may have one or more elastic cords disposed on the anchor component and a means for aligning the one or more elastic cords. Each cord may have a first and second attachment component on each end, which may attach to a first shoe and a second shoe of the user. Lowering the cord end by the attachment component may cause the other cord end to rise.

    摘要: An anterior rolling walker has a ground support frame, a vertical riser assembly, a torso support assembly and an actuator apparatus which allows a user to raise the torso support assembly from a first lowered position to a second raised position, and to anyone of a plurality of positions there between. The lift mechanism utilizes a single telescoping riser assembly which is positioned offset from the front of the walker, such that there is minimal structure to the front of the user, allowing the user to ambulate directly to (and make physical contact with) tables, desks, refrigerators, loved ones, and the like.

    摘要: A walk-about exoskeleton system can comprise an exoskeleton and a walk-about platform in support of the exoskeleton. The walk-about platform can be maneuverable about a ground surface. The walk-about platform can comprise a conveyance system operable with the walk-about platform. The conveyance system can be operable to facilitate movement of the walk-about platform about the ground surface. The walk-about platform can also comprise a bi-pedal locomotion zone defined, at least in part, by the walk-about platform. The bi-pedal locomotion zone can provide clearance for bi-pedal locomotion of an operator donning the exoskeleton.
