摘要: A method for determining the validity of a parallax image including receiving a captured two-dimensional image of a parallax image having at least three target identifiers, where at least two target identifiers are located at different depth planes in the parallax image; identifying the at least three target identifiers in the captured two-dimensional image of the parallax image and determining the spatial relationship between the at least three target identifiers in the two-dimensional image of the parallax image; comparing the spatial relationship of the at least three target identifiers in the captured two-dimensional image of the parallax image against a predetermined spatial relationship of the at least three target identifiers that indicates authenticity; and adjudicating the authenticity of the parallax image based on the degree of difference between the spatial relationship of the at least three target identifiers in the captured two-dimensional image and the predetermined spatial relationship.

摘要: Provided is a system and method for creating a luggage manifest using a b-type message and a passenger name record number, the method including: a) identifying, by at least one of at least one processor, a baggage source message (BSM) associated with an arrival of a luggage item of a passenger, wherein the BSM includes an airport code associated with an airport and travel data of a first mode of travel carrier of the luggage item; b) matching, by at least one of the at least one processor, a passenger name record (PNR) number of the passenger included in the BSM with a PNR number in a manifest for a second mode of travel different from the first mode of travel, wherein the second mode of travel is local to the airport code; c) based on a match being found in b), extracting, by at least one of the at least one processor, an International Air Transport Association (IATA) license plate number from the BSM; and d) creating, by at least one of the at least one processor, a luggage item manifest record for the luggage item, wherein the luggage item manifest record includes the IATA license plate number and the PNR number of the passenger, and wherein the luggage item manifest record is accessible by predetermined electronic acquiring devices configured to scan an originating hardcopy bag tag identifier (OH-BTI) associated with or printed on an originating hardcopy bag tag from the first mode of travel carrier that is attached to the luggage item.

Various systems may include: a processor; and non-transitory, tangible memory communicatively coupled to the processor, the memory storing at least one instruction, and the processor being configured to execute the at least one instruction. The processor may obtain an International Air Transport Association (IATA) license plate number of the checked luggage item on an air carrier from one of a field in a first baggage information message, a computer system associated with an airline carrier being an originator of the IATA license plate or a manifest; and generate a second baggage information message that includes the IATA license plate number and at least one of a primary identifier (ID) from a baggage handling system that links to a security screening image of the checked luggage item or information associated with a contents list.

These methods, systems, and media may include obtaining, by at least one processor, a first baggage information message associated with an arrival of a checked luggage item of a passenger in a manifest, and extracting from the first baggage information message an IATA license plate number and the PNR number. Disclosed methods, systems, and media may further include retrieving a personal identifiable information in a PNR database in communication with a computer system associated with the air carrier using the extracted PNR number; and obtaining a second baggage information message created by a baggage handling system that includes the IATA license plate number and a primary identifier (ID) that links to a security screening image (SSI) of the checked luggage item.

摘要: An optical security component may include a first layer, a diffractive structure etched on the first layer, a second reflective layer covering the diffractive structure. The diffractive structure includes a first pattern consisting of a set of facets arranged to form various subsets of facets, each subset of facets including a facet with symmetry of revolution arranged concentrically. In each group of the subsets of facets, the subsets of facets present, in point regions defined by identical polar coordinates, a local alteration of the surface, such as to produce a recognizable graphic object for a given tilt angle and azimuth angle. The polar coordinates vary from one group to another, so as to produce a dynamic visual effect observable in reflection by change of tilt and/or azimuth.
