摘要: Systems and techniques for a physical access control systems with localization-based intent detection are described herein. In an example, an access control system may regulate access to an asset. The access control system is adapted to establish a first connection with a key-device. The access control system may be further adapted to receive a credential for a user over the first connection. The access control system may be further adapted to establish a second connection with the key-device. The access control system may be further adapted to determine an intent of the user to access the asset. The access control system may use location data derived from the second connection to determine the intent of the user. The access control system may be further adapted to provide the credential to an access controller, based on identifying an intent of the user to access the asset.

A method includes providing an interactive storage device for attaching to a bin, and outputting, via an audiovisual element, a visual representation of a local inventory of the bin, receiving a user input, determining a change to the local inventory according to the user input, updating the local inventory in a non-volatile data store according to the change, synchronizing the local inventory with one or more nodes via a communication interface, and receiving, from the one or more nodes via the communication interface, periodic updates for a local cache comprising locations and inventories of one or more remote bins.

The access control system is adapted to receive a credential for the asset from a key device associated with a user using a first wireless connection. The access control system may be further adapted to store the credential in a cache of memory. The access control system may be further adapted to establish a second wireless connection with the key device. The access control system may be further adapted to request a validation of the credential from an authorization service in response to establishing the second wireless connection with the key device. The access control system may receive a validation token from the authorization service. The access control system may be further adapted to store the validation token in the cache.

Each of the plurality of storage containers can comprise a plurality of storage locations. Each storage location can store objects, wherein the objects can rest in a tray. Each storage location can comprise at least one image sensing device configured to capture image data of the plurality of storage locations. Each storage location can comprise a data processor configured to receive information representing captured images of the storage locations and data representing the usage or status of the objects associated with the images. The system can further comprise a portable container comprising a plurality of supplemental locations for storing the objects containers. The portable container can be configured to communicate with the plurality of storage locations and configured to reconcile objects shared between the portable container and the plurality of storage containers.

摘要: A multi-level machine-readable code system and method deployed in an environment supported by a wireless access control system network. The multi-level machine-readable code system including multi-level codes including facility-level codes, site-level codes and device-level codes, that are scanned by mobile computing devices such as mobile smart phones to initiated web-based e-commerce-enabled transactions that allow guest users to select and rent the particular networked devices available for rental and use within a facility, such as, for example, storage lockers, strollers, EVCs, wheelchairs and the like at a site selected within the environment. The wireless access and control system network can automatically assign an available device to the guest user at the selected site. When the guest reads the device-level machine-readable code on a device available for rental at a site, the wireless control access network also enables the guest users to scan the code and rent the device at the selected site and automatically control access to the rented device at the selected site, for access and use in the environment.

摘要: An access control system for electric vehicle charging is provided that includes an access device, a secure reservation interface, a reservation server and a smartphone application installed on the smartphone. The access device includes a short-range wireless communication module connected to a processor having control of an electric vehicle charger. The secure reservation interface receives a reservation request for a reservation at a given destination. The reservation server receives the reservation request for the destination, issues a reservation certificate, and transmits the reservation certificate from the reservation server to a smartphone. The smartphone application has access to a short range wireless communication setting corresponding to the access device. The access device receives the reservation certificate from the smartphone application based on use by the smartphone application of the short-range wireless communication setting. The processor activates the electric vehicle charger based on at least the receipt of the reservation certificate.
