摘要: Provided is a system and method of facilitating check-in of a luggage item of a passenger, the method includes: a) obtaining, by at least one of at least one processor, image data representative of at least one image of printed passenger information associated with an airline travel carrier on an originating hardcopy bag tag or a printed instrument having at least a portion of the printed passenger information on the originating hardcopy bag tag to create a digital passenger information (DPI) data record linked to the airline travel carrier, wherein the originating hardcopy bag tag is issued for the luggage item of the passenger, and wherein the DPI data record includes machine-encoded text of an International Air Transport Association (IATA) license plate number; b) accessing a B-type message including a passenger name record (PNR) number of the passenger, by at least one of the at least one processor, using the machine-encoded text of the IATA license plate number from a computer system associated with the airline travel carrier; c) retrieving check-in information of a return flight of the passenger with a designated return travel carrier, by at least one of the at least one processor, using PNR data associated with the PNR number; and d) checking in during a check-in window, by at least one of the at least one processor, the luggage item, the passenger, or a combination thereof, with the designated return travel carrier based on the retrieved check-in information for the return flight.

摘要: Provided is a system and method for creating a luggage manifest using a b-type message, an airline code, and flight data, the method including: a) identifying, by at least one of at least one processor, a baggage source message (BSM) associated with an arrival of a luggage item of a passenger, wherein the BSM comprises an airport code associated with an airport and travel data of a first mode of travel carrier of the luggage item; b) matching, by at least one of the at least one processor, airline information and a flight number of the passenger included in the BSM with airline information and a flight number in a manifest for a second mode of travel different from the first mode of travel, wherein the second mode of travel is local to the airport code; c) based on a match being found in b), extracting, by at least one of the at least one processor, an International Air Transport Association (IATA) license plate number from the BSM; and d) creating, by at least one of the at least one processor, a luggage item manifest record for the luggage item, wherein the luggage item manifest record comprises the IATA license plate number, wherein the luggage item manifest record is accessible by predetermined electronic acquiring devices configured to scan an originating hardcopy bag tag identifier (OH-BTI) associated with or printed on an originating hardcopy bag tag from the first mode of travel carrier that is attached to the luggage item.

摘要: A technique for controlling access to one or more attractions is achieved using a number of access keys, each being issued to one or more users. An electronic queue management part manages a virtual queue in respect of each attraction and receives electronic requests for attraction access, each request relating to an access key and being for the users associated with it to access a particular attraction. Receipt of each request causes the respective users to be added to a corresponding virtual queue. A time at which each group of users reaches the front of the virtual queue and can access the attraction is determined. The users access the attractions by presenting an access key to an access control part, in communication with the electronic queue management part. Only a user presenting an access key at the correct time for accessing the attraction is allowed access to the attraction.

摘要: A method of enrolling a user at a biometric lockset is described. The method includes receiving user access information from a mobile device of an administrative user of the biometric lockset. The user access information indicates to the biometric lockset to enter an enrollment mode in which a user identity is associated with fingerprint data in a user entry within a memory of the biometric lockset. A plurality of different light codes are displayed on the lockset, each one of the plurality of light codes representative of a different state of fingerprint data capture. A message is transmitted to the mobile device, and corresponds to the light code displayed at the lockset. The completed fingerprint data is stored in association with the user identity of the user in the user entry.

摘要: A device for preventing unwanted opening of a locked enclosure includes a lock bolt moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position. A lever arm is movable between disengaged and engaged positions and moves the lock bolt between the locked and unlocked positions. A rotary element is engageable with the lever arm in the engageable position. The rotation of the rotary element when the rotary element is engaged with the lever arm moves the lock bolt between the locked and unlocked positions. A pin normally blocks the lever arm from moving from the disengaged position to the engageable position. A rotatable output gear moves a rack gear and the pin to unblock the lever arm and thereby allowing the lever arm to engage with the rotary element to allow a user to rotate the rotary element to move the lock bolt between the locked and unlocked positions.

摘要: A ticket exchange server is configured to monitor seat usage in a stadium during an event. The ticket exchange server provides a first ticket for a seat to a first client device in response to a request from a first user of the first client device. The ticket exchange server unlocks the seat in response to detecting a presence of the first user at the seat. The ticket exchange server receives an indication from the first user surrendering the seat prior to completion of the event and locks the seat. The ticket exchange server provides a second ticket for the seat for a remainder of the event to a second client device of a second user in response to a request for the seat from the second client device. The ticket exchange server unlocks the seat in response to detecting a presence of the second user at the seat.

摘要: An access control system for electric vehicle charging is provided that includes an access device, a secure reservation interface, a reservation server and a smartphone application installed on the smartphone. The access device includes a short-range wireless communication module connected to a processor having control of an electric vehicle charger. The secure reservation interface receives a reservation request for a reservation at a given destination. The reservation server receives the reservation request for the destination, issues a reservation certificate, and transmits the reservation certificate from the reservation server to a smartphone. The smartphone application has access to a short range wireless communication setting corresponding to the access device. The access device receives the reservation certificate from the smartphone application based on use by the smartphone application of the short-range wireless communication setting. The processor activates the electric vehicle charger based on at least the receipt of the reservation certificate.

摘要: Secure passcode-triggered wireless communication pairing of a mobile device with an electronic lock is provided. The passcode is a limited-use (e.g., one time use, useful for a limited time span) pairing passcode that may be generated at the electronic lock or by an application executing on an administrative user's mobile device that can be communicated to a guest user as part of an invitation to connect to the electronic lock. The pairing passcode is not a lock actuation passcode and cannot be used to actuate the electronic lock from a locked to an unlocked position. Rather, the pairing passcode enables the guest user to pair a mobile device with the electronic lock and, once paired, to use an application executing on the guest user's mobile device to actuate the electronic lock.
