摘要： The invention provides a novel photosensitive recording material in the shape of a multilayer element comprising(i) a photopolymerizable or photocrosslinkable relief-forming layer (RL) of a thickness from 0.1 to 6000 .mu.m and(ii) a dimensionally stable support layer.The said relief-forming layer (RL) consists essentially of an ionic polymer, of one or more photoinitiators and, if desired, of one or more photopolymerizable monomers.The said ionic polymer contains(A) from about 45 to 90% by weight, based on the ionic polymer, of a polymer main chain formed from an alkadiene polymer A',(B) from about 6 to about 45% by weight, based on the ionic polymer, of one or mored olefinically unsaturated side radicals having the structure (I), ##STR1## where R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are different and are each H or a carbon atom of A',R.sup.3 is a polyvalent, straight-chain or branched C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -alkylene radical whose chain or branches may be interrupted by --O--, --N-- or --S--,X is --O--, --S-- or --NH--,Y is a polar group,Z is --CH.sub.2 --, --O--, ##STR2## R.sup.4 is H or CH.sub.3, Q is --COOH or --COO.sup..crclbar.,m is an integer from 1 to 3, and(C) from about 0.5 to about 10% by weight, based on the ionic polymer, of cations selected from the group consisting of cations of elements of the main groups I to V, of the subgroups I to VIII and of the lanthanide series of the periodic table of elements, of ammonia, of polyfunctional organic amines, and of hydrazine.In addition, the said ionic polymer may contain further side radicals D which are not photopolymerizable.The novel photosensitive recording material is highly suited for the production of printing plates, relief plates and photoresists.

摘要： A self-curable coating composition for cathode-precipitating electrodeposition is disclosed which essentially comprises a water-dispersible resin having a carbon-carbon double bond and a tertiary amino group and an epoxy resin having a teritary amino group and an unsaturated group of the formula ##STR1## The two resins are neutralized by an acid to render the composition water-soluble or water-dispersible.

摘要： Viscous, homogeneous and thermoreversible gels containing polymer chains are obtained by a process in which a solution of a prepolymer or polymer which contains at least one free acid group at each chain end in a non polar solvent selected among the aliphatic, alicyclic and aromatic hydrocarbons having a dielectric constant of less than about 3 is reacted at room temperature with a stoechiometric amount, based on the acid group content of the polymer, of a metal aliphatic alkoxide so as to neutralize all the free acid groups and a sufficient amount of the non polar solvent is distilled for removing, in a substantially quantitative manner, the aliphatic alcohol formed by said reaction.

摘要： A curable resin composition is disclosed for use in the manufacture of laminates applied to electronics equipment. The composition essentially comprises a resol type phenolic resin which is obtained from the reaction of an amidated drying oil and a phenol-formal dehyde in the presence of an alkali catalyst. Another form of the composition includes an amidated butadiene polymer to provide improved flexibility and chemicals resistance.

摘要： A process for production of a polymer emulsion comprising polymerizing at least one partially esterified, imidated or amidated product of an adduct with a compound having a polymerizable unsaturated group and a hydroxy group, epoxy group or amino group, in an aqueous system in the presence or absence of a vinyl monomer, said adduct being produced by adding an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid or anhydride thereof to at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a synthetic unsaturated polymer having a number average molecular weight of 150 to 30,000 and an iodine value of 50 to 500, a natural drying oil, a natural semidrying oil and an unsaturated fatty acid which composes the natural drying or semidrying oils. The polymer emulsion shows excellent coating film properties when used for paints.

摘要： A hydroxy, amino, or mercapto terminated polydiene polymer is reacted with an organic acid anhydride to produce a carboxylic acid terminated polydiene. An organic chain extender and a peroxide free radical initiator is mixed with the polydiene, and upon reaction, an elastomeric material having the peroxide homogeneously dispersed therethrough substantially unreacted is formed. When the temperature is raised, the peroxide in the elastomer effects a cure to produce a hard thermoset resin.
