摘要: Techniques according to the present disclosure include moving an untethered downhole tool through a wellbore between a terranean surface and a particular depth in the wellbore; during the moving the untethered downhole tool through the wellbore, acquiring a set of sensed data from one or more sensors in the untethered downhole tool in a time domain; transforming the plurality of data values associated with the wellbore parameter in the time-domain into a plurality of data values associated with the wellbore parameter in a depth-domain based at least in part on at least one accelerometer output and the locations of a plurality of casing collars; and preparing the plurality of data values associated with the wellbore parameter in the depth-domain for presentation on a graphical user interface (GUI).

摘要: A method for logging in a well is disclosed. The method includes securing a passive logging while levitating (PLWL) assembly to a bottomhole assembly (BHA) to form a logging assembly and running the logging assembly into a wellbore of the well. The method further includes detecting a deviation in the wellbore, detecting a fluid flow direction around the logging assembly in the wellbore, activating the PLWL assembly based, at least in part, on the deviation in the wellbore and the fluid flow direction, and levitating the logging assembly in a center of the wellbore. The method also includes determining whether the logging assembly has reached a target depth and performing logging in the well while the logging assembly is levitating in the center of the wellbore.

摘要: Systems and methods for a guided extend reach tractor are disclosed. The method includes installing a packer and a tractor string operatively connected to the packer in a borehole; lowering the guided extend reach tractor into the borehole; supplying power, via a power source, to the guided extend reach tractor; attaching the guided extend reach tractor to the tractor string using an electromagnet; and clamping the guided extend reach tractor onto the tractor string. The method further includes activating helical bars to propel the guided extend reach tractor forward or backward in the borehole; performing well intervention operations in the borehole; and extracting the guided extend reach tractor from the borehole.

摘要: A drift robot performs a drifting operation of a wellbore in a subterranean formation. The drift robot includes an elongated body to be deployed into a well conduit in the wellbore, a propulsion system for propelling the elongated body to traverse the well conduit, retractable landings attached to the elongated body for selectively anchoring the elongated body to an internal surface of the well conduit, sensors attached to the elongated body to generate sensor measurements of the well conduit, a smart camera disposed at one end of the elongated body to capture camera images of interior features of the well conduit, and a controller that adjusts the elongated body based at least on the sensor measurements and the camera images.

摘要: A method for removing a flapper seat assembly that is replaceable from a safety valve positioned downhole in a wellbore is described herein. For example, the safety valve is positioned downhole in a wellbore and can include a housing. Additionally, the safety valve can include a flow tube coupled to a downhole tool. The flow tube can be removed from the safety valve in response to a first force applied by the downhole tool. A first tool profile can be coupled to a first assembly profile for coupling the downhole tool to the flapper seat assembly after removing the flow tube. A second assembly profile can be detached from a housing profile to remove the flapper seat assembly from the wellbore in response to a second force applied by the downhole tool. After removing the flapper seat assembly, a second flapper seat assembly can be attached to the safety valve.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for controlling a downhole tool by encoding a tool control signal in a fluid flow and obtaining a temperature response downhole. In an example, a system for controlling a downhole tool includes a signal transmitter, a signal receiver, and a controller. The signal transmitter is uphole of the tool to be controlled (e.g., at surface) and encodes the tool control signal by varying one or more fluid flow parameters of a fluid flow down a well. The signal receiver is positionable in the well in fluid communication with the fluid flow. The signal receiver detects a temperature response in the fluid flow resulting from varying the one or more fluid flow parameters. A controller controls the downhole tool according to the temperature response.

摘要: A pressurizable assembly which comprises first and second assemblies. The first assembly has a plurality of cam grooves while the second assembly is size and shaped to intimately receive and mate with the first assembly. The second assembly has a connection member a plurality of radially mounted locking pin mechanisms for interacting with one of the plurality of spaced apart cam grooves. Axial movement of the second assembly, toward and away from the first assembly, causes the plurality of locking pin mechanisms to follow along the cam grooves to an intermediate locking position which locks the second assembly with the first assembly, while a subsequent axial movement of the second assembly, toward and away from the first assembly, causes the plurality of locking pin mechanisms to follow along the plurality of cam grooves and disengage the second assembly from the first assembly.
