    摘要: This invention involves a balance scale with a base, a balance arm support, a balance arm, a pointer, and a movable label plate containing descriptions. The balance arm has a tray on each end, where one tray holds an article representing mankind with sin, and the other tray holds an article representing the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. The articles on each tray are of equal or approximately equal weight. The scale rotates when the weight of the articles are added to or removed from the trays, and the scale rotation will determine which description the pointer will point to. This invention can be used as a Christian teaching aid showing the benefit of choosing to accept the death of Christ as payment in full for our sins, along with showing the consequence of our refusal to accept the death of Christ as payment for our sins.

    摘要: A system and method for simulating a structure is disclosed. An adjustable interior mockup for simulating a structure has a base with a first elongated side and a second elongated side, the first elongated side being nonadjacent the second elongated side; and an adjustable frame secured to the base. The adjustable frame includes a plurality of girder members secured along the first and second elongated sides to form an arc; a plurality of brackets; a plurality of arms having a latch attached to one end; and a sheet of fabric. The girders are securely fastened along the first elongated side of the base at predetermined intervals; the brackets are secured to the girders; the arms are received by the brackets and adjustably anchored to the girders via a fastener; and the latches engage the sheet of fabric, thus pulling the fabric into a shape that resembles the structure.

Graphical user interfaces (GUIs) provide an instructor with user interface elements to manage online course content. Using the GUIs, the instructor can create in-session and self-paced courses that can be delivered over a network to any number of student operated client devices. The instructor is provided a suite of editing tools that can be used to create and edit pages of content for a course, including adding links and multimedia, information pages, posts and course materials. The GUI can include a side bar that can display descriptors that can be used by the instructor to navigate pages of the course.
