Abstract:
An image transmitting apparatus includes a transmitter capable of transmitting color image information and a memory that stores addresses of a plurality of receiving sides together with respective information indicating, for each stored address, whether the corresponding receiving side has or does not have a color receiving function. The apparatus designates a plurality of destinations from among the plurality of receiving sides whose addresses are stored in the memory and discriminates whether or not each of the designated destinations has the color receiving function in accordance with the information stored in the memory. The apparatus then notifies that at least one of the destinations does not have the color receiving function, in response to the discrimination.
Abstract:
An image communication apparatus includes a reader for reading an original image, a memory circuit for storing image information read by the reader, a sending unit for sending the image information, and a controller for synthesizing image information read by the reader and the image information stored in the memory circuit, and causing the sending unit to send the synthesized image information.
Abstract:
A facsimile apparatus comprises discriminating means for discriminating whether a sending image is a color information or not. The apparatus transmits a color information in the transmitting mode corresponding to the discrimination provided by the foregoing discriminating means subsequent to sending to a receiver at a destination in advance the page information determined by the foregoing discriminating means as having a color information when the receiver at the destination has a color receiving function, and transmits all the page information as monochromic information when the receiver at the destination does not have any color receiving function.
Abstract:
A thermal transfer recording apparatus for image recording on a recording medium by transferring the ink of an ink sheet onto said recording medium, comprises ink sheet transport means for transporting said ink sheet, recording medium transport means for transporting said recording medium, recording means for effecting said ink sheet thereby recording an image on said recording medium, timer means for measuring time after image recording by said recording means, heat generation means for driving said recording means to effect heat generation with same data as in the preceding image recording prior to a next recording operation when a predetermined time is measured by said timer means, and control means adapted, when a time exceeding said predetermined time is measured by said timer means, to control the energy for driving said recording means prior to the next recording operation according to the time measured by said timer means.
Abstract:
An image recording apparatus which records a stamp image to identify a recording sheet onto the recording sheet on which an image is recorded. The apparatus includes an input unit to input image data, a memory unit to store stamp image data, a recording unit to record the image data from the input unit and the stamp image data from the memory unit onto a recording sheet, and a number of copies setting circuit to set the number of copies which are recorded by the recording unit. When specific image data is received from a specific partner apparatus, the recording unit performs the recording of one copy irrespective of the set number of copies. The recording unit can be applied to a facsimile apparatus, a printer, a copying apparatus, or the like. The recording unit selects the different stamp image data from the memory every recording of each copy and records the selected stamp image data onto the recording sheet.
Abstract:
A facsimile apparatus which can make definite the presence or absence of optional signals such as a password signal (PWD), a sub-address signal (SUB), a selective polling signal (SEP) and the like in communication between transmitting and receiving stations, thereby preventing an erroneous operation. A digital transmit command signal (DTC) is used to notify a remote station whether a transmit command signal includes the password signal (PWD) and selective polling signal (SEP). A digital command signal (DCS) is used to notify a remote station whether a receive command signal includes the password signal (PWD) and sub-address signal (SUB).
Abstract:
Received image data is recorded on a recording material (e.g., thermosensitive paper) by using a full-line recording head on which thermosensitive plural recording elements (e.g., heating elements) corresponding to a maximum recording width are arrayed. At this time, in a stand-by condition, recording elements in the portions corresponding to the appropriate recording material size are preliminarily heated at predetermined time intervals. In a receiving mode, recording elements in the portions corresponding to the appropriate recording size of received image data are preliminarily heated prior to recording received data.
Abstract:
A data communication apparatus includes a data communication section, a calling section for calling a desired destination, a manual instruction section for issuing a manual instruction for starting data communication after calling by the calling section, and a section for transmitting a recognition signal indicating that a calling station is a non-voice terminal after calling by the calling section. In a manual communication mode for performing data communication according to the manual instruction, the recognition signal is sent in response to the manual instruction.
Abstract:
A heat transfer recording apparatus for recording an image on a recording medium by transferring an ink possessed by an ink sheet to the transfer medium comprises conveying means for conveying the ink sheet and the recording medium, recording means for recording an image on the recording medium, and control means for controlling the recording means after an image has been recorded by the recording means so as to record the image over again by using the same data after the ink sheet has been conveyed while the recording medium being stopped.
Abstract:
An ink sheet cartridge mountable onto a recording apparatus comprises a supply reel around which an ink sheet is wound, a take-up reel for winding the ink sheet supplied from the supply reel, and a frame body for holding the supply reel and the take-up reel, wherein the strength of the take-up reel is made greater than that of the supply reel.
