摘要: A safety valve unit permits its user to perform an adjustment of the valve unit in cracking pressure from the outside in an easy and an adequate manner without disassembling any part of the valve unit in a condition in which the valve unit remains inline-connected with a fluid circuit. The safety valve unit is provided with a rotary barrel member (1), in which a cracking pressure adjusting portion (4, 5, 6, 7 and 8) is incorporated and driven by the barrel member (1) in order to adjust the cracking pressure. The barrel member (1) has its female screw portion (2) threadably engaged with a male screw portion of the cracking-pressure adjusting portion (4) that is a movable spring support (4). When the barrel member (1) is rotated, the spring support (4) is axially and linearly displaced to adjust the cracking pressure of the valve unit.

摘要: During non-use of tank (53), a connector for dispensing liquid from the tank has no portion projecting the tank, keeps the tank in its sealed condition, and makes no disturbance. Provided in drum cap (51) threadably engaged with a neck of the tank are liquid outlet plug installation hole (55) and dual-purpose gas/liquid inlet plug installation hole (56). Siphon tube (59) extending downward to the bottom of the tank is provided inside hole. (55) of liquid plug (57) an upper surface of which does not extend beyond an upper surface of the drumcap. Dual-purpose gas/liquidplug (70) is provided inside the hole (56) not to has its upper surface extend beyond the upper surface of the drum cap. Caps (62 and 75) are detachably fitted in the liquid plug and the gas/liquid plug, respectively, to seal upper openings of these plugs (57 and 70), respectively.

摘要: When a network is formed among vehicles with the use of inter-vehicle communication units, a network-forming-request-source vehicle sends its position serving as a reference position, its moving direction, and requested information to surrounding vehicles by the use of a free ID. Among the surrounding vehicles, vehicles which are to subscribe to the network receive the position, the moving direction, and the requested information, determine where the vehicles are positioned among positions specified in advance relative to the reference position, and respond at a timing corresponding to their positions by the use of free IDs. The network-forming-request-source vehicle receives the responses, stops receiving responses when the number of responded vehicles reaches an appropriate number of vehicles, and sends its genuine ID and a vehicle communication order. Then, a restriction, such as a restriction based on the number of times relay processes are allowed, a restriction based on a predetermined-distance area from the center of balance or the center, or a restriction based on a communication period equal to a predetermined time or shorter from when the network is formed, all of which correspond to the type of network, is applied to form an appropriate-area network.

摘要: When a played scene of a VCR (sequential access recorder) (90) is overwritten or added to the play list derived from the cut edit of the video scenes already stored in a disk (random access recorder) (140) according to the first instruction of a user, a selector (96) switches the play output of the disk following the play list and said played scene of the VCR to provide it to a monitor (6A) so that the user can confirm the edit result during the recording in real time. If there is the second instruction (VIEW instruction) during the recording, it plays the same edit result of the disk (140) again based on the renewed temporary play list to provide it to the monitor (6A) without interrupting the recording. On this occasion, it approves the user to change the play speed and stops advancing the play if the user try to play beyond the recorded point. Then, the user can confirm the recorded video portion without waiting the completion of the recording and without interrupting the recording even during the recording from the external VCR.

摘要: A facsimile apparatus includes a recording unit including an ink-jet recording apparatus for recording image data, a main power supply unit for supplying electric power, a central control unit, to which electric power is supplied from the main power supply unit, for controlling the operation of the entire apparatus, a main-power-supply control unit for controlling on/off operations of the main power supply unit, and a secondary battery unit, charged by the main power supply unit, for supplying the main-power-supply control unit with electric power. The apparatus is operable in an operational mode in which the main power supply unit is turned on by a starting signal output from the main-power-supply control unit, and the main power supply unit supplies a main body of the apparatus with electric power and charges the secondary battery unit, and a standby mode in which the main power supply unit is turned off and the secondary battery unit supplies the main-power-supply control unit with electric power. The main-power-supply control unit starts the main power supply unit in order to charge the secondary battery unit in the standby mode. When starting the main power supply unit in order to charge the secondary battery unit, a recovery operation of a head of the ink-jet recording apparatus is performed by suctioning or discharging ink within the head.
