Abstract:
A housing of measuring tape compromising a supporting a hard plastic shell, a buffer soft plastic shell and two impact proof side metal covers, the supporting hard plastic shell and the buffer soft plastic shell can be injected together or stuck together after being injected separately for the right, left body of the measuring tape. During assembling, screws are applied in both directions to have the tape wheel, the elastic component, the tape lock/automatic rewind switch and all the components installed inside the right, left body, then to have the impact proof side metal covers installed on both external sides of the right, left body. The screw holes are covered by the impact proof side metal covers, such structure make the housing with light weight, impact proof and not easy to disperse characters.
Abstract:
A novel trench-capacitor DRAM cell structure is disclosed. The trench-capacitor DRAM cell of this invention includes an active area island having a horizontal semiconductor surface and a vertical sidewall contiguous with the horizontal semiconductor surface. A pass transistor is disposed at the corner of the active area island. The pass transistor includes a folded gate conductor strip extending from the horizontal semiconductor surface to the vertical sidewall of the active area island, a source formed in the horizontal semiconductor surface, a drain formed in the vertical sidewall, and a gate oxide layer underneath the folded gate conductor strip. The source and drain define a folded channel. The trench-capacitor DRAM cell further includes a trench capacitor that is insulated from the folded gate conductor strip by a trench top oxide (TTO) layer and is coupled to the pass transistor via the drain.
Abstract:
An adaptor for connecting between a digital still camera and a printer. The adaptor comprises a transfer controller, a memory, and a multi-processing micro-controller. The transfer controller is connected to a data bank. The transfer controller receives and stores image data from the digital still camera into the data bank, then transferring the image data to the printer. The memory has a system program stored therein. The multi-processing micro-controller is connected to the transfer controller and the memory through a data bus and a control bus. The multi-processing micro-controller controls the transfer controller in receiving and transferring the image data concurrently in response to the system program.
Abstract:
A successive approximation analog-to-digital converter is used for converting an analog input signal into a corresponding digital output signal. The successive approximation analog-to-digital converter has a successive approximation register for storing a first digital bit stream and a second digital bit stream that are related to the analog input signal, and a digital-to-analog converter for generating a first reference voltage and a second reference voltage according to the first and second digital bit streams. The digital-to-analog converter has a first voltage divider and a second voltage divider. The first voltage divider drives the first reference voltage approaching the analog input signal to establish the first digital bit stream, and the second voltage divider drives the second reference voltage approaching the analog input signal to establish the second digital bit stream. Finally, the first and second digital bit streams are averaged to generate the digital output signal.
Abstract:
A remote convenience system (10) and an associated method provide for remote control a convenience function. A portable transmitter unit (12) is operable for remote function requests. The transmitter unit (12) includes circuitry (32) for transmitting a signal (18) that conveys a remote function request. A receiver/controller unit (14) receives the transmitted signal (18) and causes performance of the remotely requested function. The receiver/controller unit (14) includes a plurality of antennae (52), each for picking-up the transmitted signal (18) and outputting an electrical signal that conveys the remote function request. Each of the antennae (52) is configured to have an ability to pick-up the transmitted signal (18) that is dependent upon direction from the receiver/controller unit (14) to the transmitter unit (12). The ability of each of the antennae (52) is different from the ability of the other antennae. A control portion (48) determines which one of the antennae (52) has a better ability to pick-up the transmitted signal. The electrical signal from the one antenna with the better ability is used to determine the remotely requested function.
Abstract:
A nozzle for knitting machine comprises a fastening block comprising a U-shaped opening and an inlet hole; a seat under the fastening block adjacent the U-shaped opening, the seat comprising an opening in communication with the U-shaped opening; a trigger member pivotably disposed on both sides of the fastening block, the trigger member comprising a raised member in the opening of the seat; and a sliding block removably received in the U-shaped opening, the sliding block comprising a riser facing the seat, an inlet channel through the sliding block, a block member on the top of the inlet channel, a V-shaped groove on the block member, an aperture extended downwardly from the V-shaped groove being in communication with the inlet channel and the inlet hole. In blowing operation, yarn is placed on the V-shaped groove. Then move the sliding block toward the seat with the riser of the sliding block inserted into the opening of the seat. Next pivot the trigger member to cause the raised member of the trigger member to be disposed vertically. Thus, the sliding block is confined in a U-shaped opening. Hence, external high pressure air is directed to blow onto yarn. The yarn blowing or cleaning operation is made convenient. Further, the components are simplified. Thus, assembly is simple and manufacturing cost is reduced.
