    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first network device (e.g., a base station) may determine, based on one or more transmissions received over a channel and a channel condition of the channel, a configuration for repeating a sequence from multiple sequences over a resource allocation. A second network device (e.g., a UE) may transmit one or more transmissions over a channel to the first network device. The first network device may transmit, to the second network device, an indication of the configuration for repeating the sequence over the resource allocation. The second network device may transmit a first instance of the sequence and a second instance of the sequence based on the configuration. The first network device may perform error correction on the data based on the received first instance of the sequence and the received second instance of the sequence.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) having partially coherent antennas may be configured for simultaneous transmissions on groups of antennas. To achieve the benefits of simultaneous transmissions using groups of antenna that are partially coherent, without having the transmissions affect each other, the UE may apply a hybrid closed-loop multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) scheme among each antenna in the antenna groups where phase coherence can be maintained. Following the hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme, the UE may apply a transparent diversity scheme across each antenna of the groups. Alternatively, the UE may first apply the transparent diversity scheme and next apply the hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme. By applying a hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme, and a transparent diversity scheme, the UE may fully realize its resources and contribute to an improved spatial diversity for a MIMO system.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide apparatus, methods, processing systems, and computer readable mediums for providing two channel state information (CSI) reports based on sidelink CSI reference signal (RS) respectively to a sidelink user equipment (UE) and a network entity (e.g., a base station). Existing sidelink CSI reporting between UEs is not shared with the network. The lack of information on the network side prevents scheduling improvements. Therefore, by generating a second CSI report to the network, the network can have information to better schedule sidelink UE transmissions and to introduce precoding matrix indicator (PMI) signaling.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first indication of a default overlap resolution process for application by the UE on a plurality of overlapping transmissions. The plurality of overlapping transmissions may be collectively scheduled by one or more first downlink control information (DCI) messages received by the UE prior to a processing deadline for multiplexing the plurality of overlapping transmissions. The UE may determine, based on the processing deadline having passed, whether any one of the one or more first downlink control information messages includes a second indication of a transmission-specific overlap resolution process for application by the UE on a first two or more overlapping transmissions of the plurality of overlapping transmissions. The UE may perform a determined overlap resolution process including either the transmission-specific overlap resolution process or the default overlap resolution process.
