Abstract:
A method and a system for processing a Radio Link Failure (RLF) report, where when a User Equipment (UE) encounters an RLF in a first cell controlled by a first evolved base station and selects a second cell controlled by a second evolved base station to re-establish an Radio Resource Connection (RRC), are provided. The method includes sending, by the second evolved base station, the RLF report to every corresponding evolved base station according to the PCI of the first cell having been received from the UE, where the PCI of the first cell, the PCI of a second cell, the CRNTI of the UE in the first cell, and UE authentication information are carried in the RLF report, and authenticating, by every evolved base station the UE according to the UE authentication information. Another method for processing an RLF report, and two methods for adjusting a mobile parameter, are also provided.
Abstract:
The present application discloses handover methods and apparatuses. One specific embodiment of the handover method comprises receiving a handover request message from a source base station by a target base station; determining whether to add a secondary base station for setting up a dual-connectivity for a user equipment (UE) according to the handover request message; and performing a handover operation and a dual-connectivity setup operation in response to the determination of adding the secondary base station. The dual-connectivity can be set up for the UE during the handover in the embodiments.
Abstract:
A method of implementing fast recovery of public warning systems (PWSs) is provided. The method includes receiving, by a mobility management entity (MME), a first restart indication message transmitted by a home evolved nodeB (HeNB) gateway (GW), transmitting, by the MME, a second restart indication message to a cell broadcast center (CBC), the second message including an index of the HeNB and/or an index of the HeNB GW, receiving, by the MME, a warning request transmitted by the CBC, the warning request including the index of the HeNB and/or the index of the HeNB GW, and transmitting, by the MME, the warning request which is destined for the HeNB to the HeNB GW.
Abstract:
The present application discloses a method for synchronizing encryption information between a SCell and UE, which includes that: the SCell transmits a COUNT value of RB established for the UE to a PCell; the PCell transmits the COUNT value received from the SCell to the UE; and the PCell receives a COUNT value of RB established on the SCell that is saved by the UE from the UE. Or, the SCell and the UE may directly exchange the COUNT value of RB. By the present application, the security and correctness of data can be ensured.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for establishing a user plane bearer are provided. The method includes receiving a transport layer address supported by a serving gateway (SGW)/packet gateway (PGW) from a mobile management entity (MME), selecting, by a radio access network (RAN) entity, directly the appropriate transport layer address to establish the user plane bearer, or after receiving the transport layer address transmitted by the SGW/PGW, selecting, by the MME, the appropriate transport layer address to establish the user plane bearer, or reporting, by the MME, the obtained transport layer address used by the access entity to the SGW/PGW to establish the user plane bearer.
Abstract:
A method for supporting indication of a failure event to a source access system is provided. The method includes notifying, by the source access system, information of a source cell to a target access system, routing, by the target access system, a message to the base station or the base station controller of the source access through a core network by use of the information of the source cell received from the source access system when the target access system needs to transmit a message to the source access system. By use of the method provided by the present disclosure, a problem of mobility robustness optimization (MRO) among different radio access technology (RAT) may be notified to the source access system, so as to avoid impact for a terminal, reduce operator configuration.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method of anonymously reporting minimization of drive test (MDT) measurements. According to the method, a mobility management entity (MME) obtains MDT data anonymity configuration which indicates whether MDT measurements are to be reported anonymously at a type allocation code (TAC) level; sends a TAC of a UE to a trace collection entity (TCE) if the MDT data anonymity configuration indicates MDT measurements are to be reported anonymously at the TAC level; sends an international mobile subscriber identification (IMSI) or an international mobile equipment identity and software version (IMEISV) of the UE to the TCE if the MDT data anonymity configuration indicates other information, e.g. Trace, is adopted for anonymously reporting MDT measurements. The present invention enables an MME to send different identities of a UE to the TCE according to different requirements for anonymity to implement anonymous reporting of MDT measurements.
Abstract:
A method supporting group handover, which is applied to a User Equipment (UE) in communication with a network via a Relay Node (RN), is provided. The method includes a base station (e.g., an S-DeNB) hands over an RN to a base station (e.g., a T-DeNB) and the S-DeNB hands over the UE served by the RN to the T-DeNB, wherein the handovers are performed simultaneously or separately. The various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a base station supporting group handover. The technical scheme set forth in the present disclosure can reduce an unnecessary signaling procedure, the possibility of network congestion, and can reduce the signaling procedure of handover when group handover occurs, so as to reduce the failure of the handover process and enhance the continuity of service.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for proximity discovery among user equipments (UEs). The method includes: a UE registers with a device to device (DTD) server and obtains DTD default resources from a received registration response. When the UE is a user to be discovered and is not in coverage, it sends a discovery message on the DTD default resources. When the UE is a discovering user, it receives the discovery message on the DTD default resources. The present invention also discloses a device. With the technical solution of the present invention, it is not only possible to support a discovering service and a to-be-discovered service when the UE is in coverage, but also to support the same services when the UE is not in coverage.
Abstract:
A method for supporting an emergency service by a mobility management entity (MME) and a base station in a mobile communication system, and a MME and base station, are provided. The method for supporting an emergency service by a MME includes receiving, by the MME, a first message including information associated with an attach request of a terminal from a base station, determining, by the MME, whether the attach request is accepted based on information indicating an emergency service included in the first message, and transmitting, by the MME, a second message to the base station if the attach request is accepted, wherein if the information associated with the attach request includes the information indicating the emergency service, the attach request is accepted, and wherein the information indicating the emergency service is included in the first message using information included in a third message received from the terminal.
