Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure relate to apparatuses and methods for implementing techniques for support mobility in a wireless network for user equipments (UEs) with varying capabilities. A UE can receive a first system information from a serving base station, where the first system information includes a UE capability condition associated with a neighbor base station, and determine whether a UE capability meets the UE capability condition associated with the neighbor base station. When the UE capability condition is met, the UE can determine whether a first measurement of a first reference signal received from the serving base station and a second measurement of a second reference signal received from the neighbor base station satisfy a threshold condition. When the threshold condition is met, the UE can obtain a second system information from the neighbor base station, indicating the UE has performed handover to the neighbor base station.

The DCI format 2_0 may comprise an available resource block (RB) set indicator information element (IE) that indicates a state of Listen Before Talk (LBT) sub-bands, and a Channel Occupancy Time (COT) duration indicator IE. The available RB set indicator is set to an unknown state when there is insufficient time to fully prepare the DCI Format 2_0.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for signaling in cast-type indication for a wireless communication system may include receiving, at a first user equipment (UE), a first stage sidelink control information (SCI) format from a second UE, decoding the first stage SCI format, determining a second stage SCI format using the decoded first stage SCI format, decoding the second stage SCI format, and determining a sidelink feedback status using the second stage SCI format. The sidelink feedback status may indicate whether sidelink feedback is enabled or not enabled. Second stage SCI content may include a distance setting associated with a communication range between the first UE and the second UE.

A wireless device may establish a wireless link with a cellular base station. The wireless device may receive downlink control channel configuration information from the cellular base station. The downlink control channel configuration information may configure control resources associated with multiple transmission reception points in a search space for the wireless device. The wireless device may perform downlink control channel candidate blind decoding during a monitoring occasion configured by the search space configured with control resources associated with multiple transmission reception points.

Abstract: A cellular base station (BS) which transmits more flexible downlink control information (DCI) to the UE, and a UE capable of receiving and processing a received DCI message. The DCI message may have a DCI format of 0_1 or 0_2 and further may comprise an UL-SCH set to 0, a CSI request field of all 0s and an SRS request field having a nonzero value. The DCI message may indicate to the UE that the UE should: 1) transmit an aperiodic SRS corresponding to SRS request; and 2) that the UE should not transmit on the PUSCH. The DCI may include existing fields that specify either a slot offset or beam information useable when transmitting the aperiodic SRS. The base station may also generate a DCI message with an SRS trigger that is targeted to a plurality of UEs in a group, or a plurality of groups of UEs, for greater efficiency.

The MIMO configuration information may indicate a plurality of sounding reference signal (SRS) resources. The UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) from the base station, which may specify a plurality of MIMO parameters. The UE may perform uplink MIMO communication with the base station according to the MIMO configuration and the plurality of MIMO parameters.

Abstract: Techniques for observed time difference of arrival (OTDOA) positioning based on heterogeneous reference signals (RSs) are discussed. One example apparatus configured to be employed within a user equipment (UE) comprises receiver circuitry, a processor, and transmitter circuitry. The receiver circuitry can receive, from each of a plurality of evolved Node Bs (eNBs), one or more RSs of each of a plurality of distinct types of RSs. The processor can determine, for each of the eNBs, a time of arrival (TOA) of the one or more RSs of each of the plurality of distinct types of RSs; and compute, for each of the eNBs, a reference signal time difference (RSTD) based at least in part on the TOAs of the one or more RSs of each of the plurality of distinct types of RSs. The transmitter circuitry can transmit the RSTD computed for each of the eNBs.
