Abstract:
A wireless communications network includes a mobile station and base station communicating an indicator of an autonomous data rate supportable over a reverse wireless link between the mobile station and base station. The mobile station and base station also communicate a flag indicating whether autonomous is enabled for the mobile station. In response to the flag indicating that autonomous mode is enabled, data is communicated, over the reverse wireless link, at a data rate less than or equal to the autonomous data rate without the base station having to first schedule the mobile station.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an improved approach for performing crosstalk and signal integrity analysis in which multiple variables are taken into account when analyzing the effects of on-chip crosstalk, such as for example coupled wire length, ratio of coupling capacitance, and aggressor and victim driver types. Rather than performing a full-chip simulation, the potential crosstalk effects can be pre-characterized by performing simulation/modeling over specific net portions by systematically changing the values of these multiple variables. A set of patterns characterized from the variables are formed from the modeling. During the analysis process, the IC design is checked of the presence of the patterns, from which is produced the expected delay impact for crosstalk in the design.
Abstract:
An anti-virus method based on a security chip according to the present invention is provided. The method comprises the following steps: a hash value obtained by a hashing operation for a computer key file and a system control program are stored in a memory of the security chip, and a backup file of the computer key file is stored in a backup storage area. When power up, the integrity of the system control program is verified by using the hash value of the system control program stored in the memory of the security chip. If the system control program is integral, a control is executed by the system control program, and the system control program verifies the integrity of the computer key file using the hash value of the computer key file stored in the memory of the security chip. If all the computer key files are integral, the operating system is started; on the contrary, if any of the computer key file is not integral, it will be restored using the backup file of the computer key file stored in the backup storage area.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a communication system for performing the seamless handover of a mobile station between at least a first wireless access point and a second wireless access point within wireless LAN. The mobile station is in the coverage of at least the first wireless access point for receiving and/or sending the data from and/or to the first wireless access point. The system comprises a first server for storing data from a data source; a switch for exchanging the data between the first server and the first and second wireless access points; and a second server coupled to the switch, for receiving the data from the first server via a switch when the mobile station roams from one access point to another one, and transferring the stored data to the mobile station through the switch after the roaming.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and a computer readable medium storing a computer executable program for managing a data mining model are disclosed. A first notification associated with a data mining model is received at a business process system. A second notification associated with the data mining model is transmitted from the business process system responsive to the first notification. A determination is made regarding whether a first response operable to define an association between the data mining model and business data has been received at the business process system responsive to the second notification. A command is issued from the business process system to update model metadata associated with the data mining model based on the determination.
Abstract:
An electronic load includes a current control circuit and an interface circuit. The current control circuit is used for receiving a voltage, and outputting a measured current. The interface circuit is coupled to the current control circuit, for receiving the measured current, and providing an interface for instruments. The current control circuit and the interface circuit are coupled to a power supply being tested.
Abstract:
An improved structure for HDMI connector comprises a resilient buckle plate embedded on a side of a HDMI connector and a containing space formed in front of the resilient buckle plate, said resilient buckle plate having a plurality of retaining blocks disposed on a front end thereof and protruding out of said HDMI connector. Said containing space is disposed for a protruding portion at a front end of a resilient plate of a socket for HDMI connector to buckle up with. When plugging said HDMI connector into a common socket for HDMI connector, as said HDMI connector goes to the latched position inside said socket, said retaining blocks of said resilient buckle plate are buckled at an opening of said socket for HDMI connector to let said HDMI connector and said socket fixedly buckle up with each other. This improved structure can be used with any kind of sockets for HDMI connector.
Abstract:
The present invention provides compounds, compositions and methods for the selective inhibition of cathepsin S. In a preferred aspect, cathepsin S is selectively inhibited in the presence of at least one other cathepsin isozyme. The present invention also provides methods for treating a disease state in a subject by selectively inhibiting cathepsin S.
Abstract:
Method for controlling voltage in a non-volatile memory system is provided. The method includes selecting a first input value for a voltage generator system operating in one of a plurality of modes, the first input value controlling a temperature dependent component of a voltage applied to a memory cell; and selecting a second input value for the voltage generator system operating in one of the plurality of modes, the second input value controlling a temperature independent component of the voltage applied to the memory cell. The temperature dependent component of the voltage applied to the memory cell and the temperature independent component of the voltage applied to the memory cell are controlled independently in response to the first input value and the second input value.
