Abstract:
A base station for managing a cell includes a controller configured to perform an on/off operation to turn a downlink transmission of the cell on and off. The controller performs a process of transmitting a periodic radio signal including a cell-specific reference signal.
Abstract:
A radio communication device comprises a processor configured to generate a transmission signal on the basis of data to be transmitted. The processor generates the transmission signal by a transmission scheme selected from a digital transmission scheme and an analog transmission scheme. The digital transmission scheme is a transmission scheme by which a bit stream obtained through binary encoding of the data to be transmitted is converted into the transmission signal. The analog transmission scheme is a transmission scheme by which the data to be transmitted directly is converted into the transmission signal without performing binary encoding of the data to be transmitted.
Abstract:
A mobile communication system according to the present invention supports cellular communication in which a data path passes through a core network and D2D communication that is direct device-to-device communication in which a data path does not pass through the core network. The mobile communication system has a user terminal that performs a process of discovering a partner terminal in the D2D communication or performs the D2D communication. A plurality of radio resources that are the time-frequency resources that can be used for the process of discovering or the D2D communication consist of radio resources associated with transmission power used for the process of discovering or the D2D communication. The user terminal performs the process of discovering or the D2D communication on the basis of the transmission power associated with the radio resource used by the user terminal.
Abstract:
A cellular communication system comprises: a UE configured to perform a WLAN-related process for switching an access network for accommodating a traffic of the UE to an E-UTRAN from a WLAN, on the basis of WLAN control information; and an eNB configured to manage a cell in which the UE exists. The UE transmits, to the eNB, a WLAN Interworking Indication indicating whether or not it is possible to perform the WLAN-related process, on the basis of at least one parameter related to the UE. The eNB having received the WLAN Interworking Indication determines whether or not to provide the UE with the WLAN control information, on the basis of the WLAN Interworking Indication.
Abstract:
A mobile communication system performs downlink multi-antenna transmission by applying a precoder matrix that defines transmission directionality of downlink and a rank that defines number of signal sequences of the downlink. The mobile communication system comprises a user terminal that feeds back feedback information of a target frequency band, to a base station. The feedback information includes combinations of precoder matrix information indicating the precoder matrix and rank information indicating the rank.
Abstract:
A mobile communication system, which supports D2D communication that is direct device-to-device communication that is performed by using a radio resource assigned from a network, comprises: a user terminal that transmits a D2D start request for starting the D2D communication to the network, wherein the D2D start request includes an application identifier indicating an application used by the user terminal in the D2D communication, and a terminal identifier indicating another user terminal that is a communication partner of the user terminal in the D2D communication.
