Abstract:
Provided are a method and an apparatus for transmitting a maximum stratum level in a wireless communication system. An evolved NodeB (eNB) or a home eNB (HeNB) having a global positioning system (GPS) constitutes a maximum stratum level indicating a maximum value of a hop capable of supporting radio interface based synchronization (RIBS) and transmits the constituted maximum stratum level to a small cell. Meanwhile, the small cell determines whether a stratum level is greater than the maximum stratum level, and transmits the maximum stratum level to the eNB or the HeNB having the GPS when the stratum level is greater than the maximum stratum level.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for indicating a cell splitting pattern to a neighboring base station. A base station may perform cell splitting, and transmit, to the neighboring base station, coverage information representing the current shape of the split cells of the base station, determined by the cell splitting. In addition, the base station may further transmit, to the neighboring base station, index information indicating the current cell splitting pattern preconfigured between the base station and the neighboring base station. The neighboring base station may apply a set of mobility robustness optimization (MRO) parameters on the basis of the received coverage information.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting an indicator in a wireless communication system is provided. According to an embodiment of the present invention, when a source eNodeB (eNB) initiates handover for a user equipment (UE), it informs a target eNB about whether the handover is to avoid in-device coexistence (IDC) interference problems or not. Alternatively, according to another embodiment of the present invention, an eNB, which the UE reestablished, informs an eNB, which radio link failure (RLF) of the UE occurred, about that the cause of UE's RLF was IDC interference.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for determining handover of user equipments (UEs) attached to a mobile relay node (RN), which is moving from a source DeNB to the target DeNB, in a wireless communication system is provided. A target donor eNodeB (DeNB) receives a handover request message, and receives an indication including UE context of the UEs attach to the mobile relay node. The target DeNB determines whether to accept or reject the handover of each UE.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for indicating a resource pool for device-to-device (D2D) transmission in a wireless communication system is provided. A first evolved NodeB (eNB) transmits information on a resource pool of the first eNB for D2D transmission to a second eNB. The second eNB also transmit information on a resource pool of the second eNB for D2D transmission.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing a membership verification or an access control in a wireless communication system is provided. A mobility management entity (MME) performs the membership verification or the access control of a user equipment (UE), and transmits verified UE membership information to a target HeNB.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing a handover procedure in a wireless communication system is provided. A master eNodeB (MeNB), in dual connectivity, performs a handover decision from a source secondary eNB (SeNB) to a target SeNB, and transmits an offloading request message, which includes contexts of E-UTRAN radio access bearers (E-RABs) to be offloaded and an offloading indication, to the target SeNB. The MeNB receives an offloading request acknowledge message, which includes identifiers (IDs) of E-RABs accepted by the target SeNB, as a response to the offloading request message from the target SeNB, and transmits an offloading mobility indication to a user equipment (UE).
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting an indication in a wireless communication system is provided. A first eNodeB (eNB) transmits an X2 setup request message or an X2 setup response message to a second eNB, receives a cell activation request message from the second eNB, and transmits a cell activation response message to the second eNB. At least one of the X2 setup request message, the X2 setup response message, and the cell activation response message includes an indication which indicates whether the first eNB supports a probing state or not.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for releasing delay tolerant access user equipments (UEs) in a wireless communication system is provided. An eNodeB (eNB) receives an overload message or a user equipment (UE) context release command message including a request for releasing the delay tolerant access UEs from a mobility management entity (MME), releases the delay tolerant access UEs based on the overload message or the UE context release command message.
