Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for grouping beams that are directionally associated with one another and associating respective properties associated with groups of beams. In one aspect, a UE or component thereof may be configured to select a first beam group of one or more beam groups to include a first beam of a set of beams, with the first beam group including a first subset of beams of the set of beams that is directionally associated with a first direction of the first beam. The UE or component thereof may be further configured to associate a respective set of properties with each of the one or more beam groups. The UE or component thereof be configured to communicate via the first beam of the first beam group of the one or more beam groups.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first wireless communication device may receive a configuration associated with reporting delta channel state information (CSI). The first wireless communication device may compute the delta CSI based at least in part on the configuration, the delta CSI indicating a difference between first CSI associated with a first connection and second CSI associated with a second connection, the first connection being between the first wireless communication device and a base station and the second connection being between the first wireless communication device and a second wireless communication device. The first wireless communication device may transmit, based at least in part on the configuration, a CSI report including an indication of the delta CSI and at least one of an indication of the first CSI or an indication of the second CSI. Abstract: Network-controlled power control for side-link communications is disclosed. According to the described aspects, a power control framework is defined for network-controlled side-band or device-to-device (D2D) communications, in which transmission power for side-link communications may be stepped up enough for a base station in a connected mode with at least one of multiple user equipment (UE) devices to detect side-link communications between the UEs in order to take responsive action to enhance the reliability of the communications. The base station provides the configuration information to the UEs which may be used when preparing for transmissions of side-link traffic and/or feedback.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support sidelink cancellation for out of coverage user equipment. Described techniques provide for signaling of cancellation indications to a user equipment (UE) or a group of UEs to refrain from performing sidelink communications on a set of resources. A base station may transmit a cancellation indication to one or more sidelink UEs via an access link that indicates that an allocation of one or more resources for sidelink communications has been canceled. A first UE may receive the cancellation indication from the base station via the access link and transmit a sidelink communication to one or more other UEs that indicates the canceled resource allocation. Based on the sidelink communication of the cancellation indication from the first UE, the one or more other UEs may refrain from transmitting using the canceled resources.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for support response-based resource management. A UE may determine an uplink response to be transmitted in response to a downlink transmission by a first TRP participating in CoMP to the UE with a second TRP. The first UE may select which of the first TRP or the second TRP to transmit the uplink response to, based at least in part on the determined uplink response and may transmit the uplink response to the selected first or second TRP.
