A method and apparatus for maintaining a multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) minimization of drive test (MDT) configuration in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a first MBMS-MDT configuration via first system information, and receives second system information. The second system information may or may not include a second MBMS-MDT configuration. If the second system information does not include the second MBMS-MDT configuration or the second system information includes the second MBMS-MDT configuration which is equivalent to the first MBMS-MDT configuration. the UE maintains the first MBMS-MDT configuration.

Provided is a communication method performed by a first base station in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: generating mobility restriction information related to the control of movement of a terminal; and transmitting the mobility restriction information to a second base station. The mobility restriction information is transmitted through an X2 interface between the first base station and the second base station.

A method and apparatus for handling radio resources upon mobility in a wireless communication system is provided. In one embodiment, a user equipment (UE) receives information on radio resources allowed for a device-to-device (D2D) operation in a target cell during a handover procedure, and perform the D2D operation in the target cell based on received information on radio resources. In another embodiment, a UE performs a handover procedure or a connection re-establishment procedure, suspends using D2D resources, and resumes suspended D2D resources.

A method for reselecting a cell performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system and a terminal using the method are provided. The method comprises: receiving system information indicating a plurality of frequencies; and measuring at least one frequency based on the priority of the plurality of frequencies, wherein the terminal assumes a first frequency as having the highest priority, when the terminal attempts device-to-device (D2D) operation from the first frequency from among the plurality of frequencies, and the D2D operation can be performed only when camped on the first frequency.

There is provided a method of performing measurement. The method may be performed by a user equipment (UE) and comprise: receiving, by the UE, a cell list from a serving cell; if at least one cell in the cell list is detected, performing, by the UE, measurements on a frequency corresponding to the cell list and applying layer 3 filtering for the measurements; and if any cell in the cell list is not detected, not performing the measurements on the frequency corresponding to the cell list.

The method may comprise the steps of: receiving first RAN (radio access network) supporting information; receiving second RAN supporting information; and applying the first RAN supporting information or the second RAN supporting information for selecting a network and routing traffic. Here, when the first RAN supporting information has been received by a Home PLMN, if the UE is registered in a visited PLMN, and if the second RAN supporting information is received by the visited PLMN, the second RAN supporting information may be used.
