A damping device includes a housing, a cover assembly, a piston rod, a piston and an elastic member. The housing has an inner wall defining a chamber, and an opening communicated with the chamber. The chamber is filled with a damping medium. The cover assembly is arranged adjacent to the opening of the housing. The piston rod penetrates through the cover assembly. The piston is connected to the piston rod and movable relative to the housing. The piston includes an extension part and an expansion part located between the piston rod and the extension part. A width of the expansion part is greater than a width of the piston rod. The elastic member is arranged in the chamber of the housing, and configured to provide an elastic force to the piston.

Abstract:
An opening/closing assist device includes a cam fixed to a first member, which is one of an opening/closing body and a coupling subject of the opening/closing body, a contact element located on a second member, which is the other one of the opening/closing body and the coupling subject, and a damper stay. The damper stay includes a first end rotatably connected to the first member and a second end rotatably connected to the contact element. The contact element is maintained in the state of being pressed against the cam by means of the elastic force of the damper stay. The cam has a shape that is set so that a moment generated at the cam based on the elastic force applied by the contact element is generated so that a moment required to rotate the opening/closing body is in accordance with operation characteristics required for the opening/closing body.
Abstract:
A counterbalance assembly for an appliance hinge has a base including first and second spaced-apart side walls and a transverse face wall. A channel is located between the first and second side walls. First and second notch portions are respectively located in the first and second side walls. A rotating cam is supported on the base and has a camshaft that extends between the side walls and that is adapted for rotation about an axis of rotation, a first end located in the first notch portion and a second end located in the second notch portion. A biasing spring has an inner end engaged with the base and an outer end spaced from the base. A spring rod includes an outer end operatively coupled to the spring and an inner end operatively coupled to the lever. The lever also pivotally connects to the lobe of the cam. A damper assembly is connected to the base and having a piston which is moved between a first position and a second position by the lever contacting the piston. The piston in turn compresses fluid in the damper assembly thus dampening movement of the lid hinge.
Abstract:
A damping or return device for sliding door leaves, particularly for furniture, is provided. The device includes a rectilinear hollow body made of plastic material, which is slideably associated with a profile that is integral with the top of the piece of furniture and can be coupled automatically and with a snap action to an entrainer. The entainer is fixed to one of the door leaves by way of an adapted carriage. The rectilinear hollow body accommodates a bidirectional shock absorber and interacts selectively with a first or a second magnetized stroke limiting pivot which are associated with a first guide or with a second guide.
Abstract:
A shutter panel for an architectural opening is provided. The shutter panel may include a frame and a louver rotatably coupled to the frame. The louver may be automatically closable based on an angular orientation of the louver. The shutter panel may include a closure device operably associated with the louver. The closure device may be actuated based on the angular orientation of the louver. The shutter panel may include a damping device operably associated with the louver. The damping device may be actuated based on the angular orientation of the louver. The shutter panel may include a tension device operably associated with the louver.
Abstract:
A hinge device for rotatably moving a closing element includes a fixed element anchorable to a stationary support structure coupled to a movable element anchorable to the closing element for rotating around a first longitudinal axis between an open position and a closed position. The device further includes at least one slider movable along a second axis between a compressed and an extended position. One between the movable element and the fixed element includes at least one operating chamber defining the second axis so as to slidably house the slider, the other element including a pivot defining the first axis. The pivot and the slider are reciprocally coupled so that to the rotation of the movable element around the first axis corresponds the sliding of the slider along the second axis and vice versa.
Abstract:
A door opening and closing device can change a damping force of a damper when an arm rotates by opening and closing of a door. On a case 11 of the door opening and closing device 7, the arm 8 is mounted which rotates by opening and closing of the door 2. Inside the case 11, friction generating unit 22 is provided. The friction generating unit 22 has a slider 12d which moves linearly relative to the case 11 by opening and closing of the door 2 and a fixed part 21 which is fixed to the case 11 to slide the slider 12d. The friction generating unit 22 generates friction between the slider 12d and the fixed part 21. In opening and closing of the door 2, a radio of the rotation angle of the arm 8 and the amount of displacement of the slider 12d is varied.
