    Abstract: Described is an apparatus of a User Equipment (UE). The apparatus may comprise a first circuitry, a second circuitry, and a third circuitry. The first circuitry may be operable to process a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) within a bandwidth at a start of a slot. The second circuitry may be operable to allocate a Guard Period (GP) within the bandwidth and subsequent to the PDCCH. The third circuitry may be operable to generate a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) within the bandwidth and in one or more Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols at the end of the slot. The third circuitry may also be operable to generate a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) within the bandwidth and in one or more OFDM symbols extending between the GP and the PUCCH, the PUSCH being time-division multiplexed with the PUCCH.

    Abstract: Provided herein are method and apparatus for configuration of a Reference Signal (RS) and a Tracking Reference Signal (TRS). An embodiment provides an apparatus for a user equipment (UE), comprising baseband processing circuitry configured to receive downlink control information (DCI) that indicates a number of slots for a Tracking Reference Signal (TRS, wherein the number of slots is based on a subcarrier spacing of a bandwidth part (BWP) in a current component carrier for the UE and receive TRS based on the number of slots indicated in the DCI, a frequency density of the TRS based on a bandwidth for the TRS, and a quasi co-location (QCL) relationship of the TRS, wherein the QCL relationship indicates that the TRS is Quasi-Co-Located (QCLed) with a Synchronization Signal (SS) block or a Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS).

    Abstract: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), an Evolved Node-B (eNB), and methods for communication of uplink messages are generally described herein. The UE may receive, from an eNB, one or more downlink control messages that may indicate an allocation of PUCCH channel resources. The UE may transmit an uplink control message in at least a portion of the allocated PUCCH channel resources. When the PUCCH channel resources are allocated according to an edge configuration, the PUCCH channel resources may be restricted to a lower edge portion and an upper edge portion of the network channel resources. When the PUCCH channel resources are allocated according to a distributed configuration, the PUCCH channel resources may include one or more middle portions of the network channel resources. The middle portions may be exclusive to the lower edge and upper edge portions.
