Abstract:
Provided is a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal includes a window, a display disposed on a rear surface of the window to output an image, a terminal body having a front surface on which the window is disposed, and an external cover coupled to an outer surface of the terminal body to protect an outer appearance of the terminal body. The external cover comprises a front cover that covers at least one outer surface of top, bottom, left, and right surfaces of the terminal body and a portion of a front surface of the window. Since the external cover covers a portion of a front surface of the mobile terminal in addition to an outer surface of the mobile terminal, an area for protecting the mobile terminal against an external impact or foreign substances may increase.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for enabling user equipment (UE) to steer traffic in a wireless communications system. The method comprises the steps of: transmitting UE traffic steering preference information to a first access network; receiving traffic steering information from the first access network, the traffic steering information being set based on the UE traffic steering preference information; evaluating the traffic steering based on at least one of a first and a second traffic steering rule; and performing the traffic steering between the first access network and a second access network based on the result of the evaluation of the traffic steering. The first traffic steering rule is prescribed by ANDSF (Access Network Discovery and Selection Functions). The second traffic steering rule is prescribed by the first access network.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting a message in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) submits a message to a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer and a radio link control (RLC) layer, detects a radio link failure or a handover failure, checks whether the RLC layer receives acknowledgement (ACK) to the message from the network, reestablishes the connection with the network, and retransmits the message upon the reestablishment if the RLC layer does not receive the ACK to the message.
Abstract:
Provided are a method by which a terminal processes an emergency call in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus for supporting the same. The method comprises: selecting a cell when a radio link failure (RLF) is generated; transmitting a RRC connection re-establishment request message to the selected cell; stopping an expired timer if a suitable cell or a cell using different radio access technology (RAT) is not selected within a certain time when the RLF is generated in the emergency call process of the terminal and the selected cell is an acceptable cell; and transmitting the RRC connection reestablishment request message.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a mobile terminal including a curvedly flexible display unit, a case having a case to which the display unit is coupled, wherein the case includes a first case, a second case coupled to the first case to rotate with respect to the first case in a preset range of angles, a hinge shaft provided in the first case, a hinge housing provided in the second case, the hinge housing in which the hinge shaft is disposed, with a cylindrical shape, and a stopper for adjusting a rotation angle between the first case and the second case. The curvature of the mobile terminal may be variable and that it may be convenient to hand-carry the mobile terminal. In addition, the user can change the curvature he or she can feel comfortable. Even when a force is applied to an end of the mobile terminal, the damage on the mobile terminal can be prevented.
Abstract:
Provided is a cell reselection method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises acquiring information indicating that the lowest priority is to be applied to a specific frequency, applying the lowest priority to the specific frequency and operating a cell reselection, applying the highest priority to the specific frequency upon sensing a specific type cell during the operation, and performing a cell reselection based on the applied lowest priority or highest priority.
Abstract:
A method of reporting a measurement performed by UE in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes: performing a measurement and obtaining a first measurement result; and generating information on a first measurement bandwidth related to the first measurement result and transmitting a measurement reporting message to a network. The measurement reporting message includes the first measurement result and the information on the first measurement bandwidth. The information on the first measurement bandwidth is information related to a measurement bandwidth regarding the first measurement result.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for applying autonomous denial in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) counts the number of aggregated denials of uplink (UL) subframes in all serving cells or each serving cell over a validity period including previous subframes and a current subframe. If the number of aggregated denials of UL subframes in all serving cells or each serving cell is less than a threshold, the UE is allowed to deny scheduled UL transmission at the current subframe.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for measuring a channel in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) performs radio link monitoring (RLM) measurement and/or channel quality indicator (CQI) measurement according to phases of in-device coexistence (IDC) interference. The RLM measurement does not reflect the IDC interference in phase 2 and 3. The CQI measurement does not reflect the IDC interference in phase 3.
