Abstract: Techniques are discussed herein identify transmission strategies and to communicate those identified transmission strategies in a transparent communication environment. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may identify a new transmission strategy for a downlink channel different from a current transmission strategy for the down link channel. The UE may transmit a channel state information (CSI) message that includes an indication of the new transmission strategy identified by the UE. In some examples, a base station may identify the new transmission strategy for the downlink channel. The base station may transmit a codebook subset restriction (CSR) indicator that includes an indication of the new transmission strategy identified by the base station. In some examples, the UE may modify its feedback strategy based on the new transmission strategy.

A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) generally includes receiving, from a base station via a first bandwidth part (BWP), control signaling that triggers reporting at least one of a first channel state information (CSI) report associated with the first BWP or a second CSI report associated with a second BWP that is non-active, determining, based on an indication of an active downlink (DL) BWP change, at least one occupation time of one or more CSI processing units (CPUs) associated with the first CSI report or the second CSI report, and taking one or more actions based at least in part on the at least one occupation time.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for sharing a maximum transmit power limit between a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT. In one aspect, a wireless communication apparatus may reduce the maximum transmit power limit of a first uplink signal associated with the first RAT to obtain a first transmit power. The wireless communication apparatus may allocate a second transmit power remaining from the maximum transmit power limit to a second uplink signal associated with the second RAT. The wireless communication apparatus may reduce the maximum transmit power limit when the wireless communication apparatus is located at a cell edge, and a higher priority of the first RAT in relation to the second RAT may otherwise result in the second transmit power of the second uplink signal not satisfying a threshold.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may spatial time-division multiplex a plurality of sounding reference signal (SRS) ports, each of the plurality of SRS ports being associated with at least one of a set of orthogonal weights, the set of orthogonal weights corresponding to phase shifting, and transmit a plurality of SRSs via the plurality of spatially time-division multiplexed SRS ports simultaneously, each of the plurality of SRSs including at least two SRS repetition. The plurality of SRSs may be configured to form or present a quasi-co-location (QCL) receive (Rx) beam subspace. The UE may configure the plurality of SRSs to form the subspace as the QCL Rx beam subspace, and a base station may signal the UE to a specific Rx beam subspace such that it is aligned to the base station's beamforming direction, and achieve spatial multiplexing gain in the QCL Rx beam subspace.

In one example, a method for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE) includes determining one or more performance metrics related to communications over a wireless channel and comparing the one or more performance metrics with a performance level for the communications over the wireless channel. Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating multi-tasking and smart location selection during connected-mode discontinuous reception (CDRX) mode are disclosed herein. Example techniques disclosed herein enable a UE to perform multiple tasks during a same SSBS to reduce the number of wake-up SSBSs. For example, disclosed techniques enable a UE to perform RLM tasks and loop tracking tasks during a first SSBS and thereby reduce the number of wake-up SSBSs. In some examples, the UE may also perform the search task or the measurement task during the same first SSBS and, thereby, further reduce the number of wake-up SSBSs. Example techniques disclosed herein may also enable the UE to select which SSBS occurrences to wake-up for during the OFF duration of the CDRX cycle.

Abstract: Bandwidth part (BWP) switching may benefit a wireless communications system. Such BWP switching may include indication of one or more timing parameters used for time domain resource allocation. For example, the timing parameters may be indicated based on an index to a look-up table (e.g., a bit field in a control transmission). In some cases, one or more tables may be configured for a given BWP, and different tables may contain a different number of rows. The size of the bit field indexing the table may in turn depend on the number of rows. When switching from a first BWP to a second BWP, the size of the bit field may be based on the table of the first BWP, but the bit field may index the table of the second BWP. Techniques supporting improved timing parameter management during BWP switching are discussed herein.
