Abstract:
The present invention relates to a combustion reactor for nanopowders, a synthesis apparatus for nanopowers using the combustion reactor, and a method of controlling the synthesis apparatus. The combustion reactor for nanopowders comprises an oxidized gas supply nozzle connected to an oxidized gas tube; a gas supply unit supplying a fuel gas and a precursor gas; and a reaction nozzle forming concentricity on an inner wall of the oxidized gas supply nozzle to be connected to the gas supply unit and having an inlet opening for supplying an oxidized gas disposed at a region adjacent to a jet orifice for spraying flames. In the present invention, it is possible to precisely control the stability of flames, the uniform temperature distribution of flames and the temperature of flames that affect the properties of nanopowders, and the deposition of oxide in the combustion reactor is prevented to thus enable a continuous and uniform reaction for a long time, thereby enabling an economic and efficient synthesis of nanopowders.
Abstract:
Provided is a method of removing protein while not removing nucleic acids from a biological sample containing protein, the method including: adding a compound of formula I below and a protein nucleating agent to the biological sample containing protein: where at least two of R1, R2, and R3 substituents are substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkyl groups and the other substituent is a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkyl group, a is an integer of 1 to 6 and b is 0 or 1, wherein b is 0 when a is not 1; treating the resultant mixture with a hydrophobic surface material in order to obtain a protein-free mixture; and separating the protein-free mixture from the hydrophobic surface material to which the protein is bound. By using the method, the protein can be selectively, effectively removed from the biological sample containing the protein while a nucleic acid is maintained in the sample.
Abstract:
Provided herein is a serial flash memory device and precharging method thereof in which a single local bit-line data is sensed in synchronization with a clock. The method includes precharging two or more local bit-lines in synchronization with a first clock; and disprecharging one of the two local bit-lines in synchronization with a second clock and sensing and amplifying data of the other local bit-line. Accordingly, two precharged local bit-lines are not adjacent to each other, thereby eliminating a coupling noise effect. In addition, the time for performing the precharging operation and the sensing operation is easily secured, compared to the prior precharging method in which corresponding local bit-lines are precharged at every clock.
Abstract:
Provided is a method of classifying colors of a color based image code. The colors of each cell forming the color based image code are classified by sampling a predetermined number of pixels from each cell and then applying a max channel based clustering method, a white balance based color clustering method, a single-linkage algorithm based color classification method, a K-means algorithm based color classification method, or the like. Accordingly, the colors of an image code can be accurately recognized despite of a color distortion due to characteristics of a camera, a printing medium, etc.

Abstract:
A transmitter of a mobile communication terminal including a transmission signal processor for receiving a data signal to be transmitted, modulating the data signal into a radio signal, and outputting the radio signal. A local oscillator device provides the transmission signal processor with a local oscillator signal and a modem for outputs a control signal to power on the transmission signal processor and the local oscillator device when a voice signal is input through a microphone. A delay device for delays the control signal from the modem and provides the transmission signal processor with the delayed control signal.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing an integrated circuit having a magnetic tunnel junction device is disclosed. The method includes depositing a bottom pinning structure above the bottom conductive structure. A first ferromagnetic structure is deposited above the bottom pinning structure in a chamber. A tunnel barrier structure is deposited above the first ferromagnetic layer structure in the chamber, and a second ferromagnetic structure is deposited above the tunnel barrier structure of the magnetic tunnel junction device in another chamber.
Abstract:
A fuel cell stack includes a plurality of membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) and a stamped metal separator. The metal separator is positioned between the membrane electrode assemblies. The separator includes at least one channel on both surfaces of the separator formed by a stamping process. The separator comprises a plurality of holes, each of which form a manifold communicating with each the channels.
Abstract:
An ice making apparatus is provided. When an ice full detecting arm is not returned to an initial position by being caught on ice filled in the ice bank, it is determined that the ice bank is fully filled with the ice. Since the ice full detecting arm does not rotate when it is caught by the ice of the ice bank, the damage of the ice full detecting arm can be prevented.
Abstract:
A method and a system for interworking with a Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) network in a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) terminal. According to the method, a relay station for connecting the Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) terminal with the Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) network sets a connection with the Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) network through an initialization process. A user authentication with the Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) terminal is performed by the relay station in compliance with a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) protocol. A user authentication with a Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) network Access Control Router (ACR) is performed in compliance with a Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) network protocol by the relay station in place of the Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) terminal.
