摘要: The present invention provides an encrypting device including an encryption unit and a communications unit. Paired encrypting devices allow for communication of trusted data between trusted devices over an untrusted network. Data received by the encryption unit is encrypted and provided with a connectionless header for delivery to the communications unit. Data received by the communications units is provided with a complex header for delivery to the paired encrypting device. The encrypting devices may be implemented in hardware or may be virtualized on a server or a plurality of severs. Arrangement of the encrypting devices in a hub-and-spoke topology allows for communication amongst a plurality of trusted devices. The encrypting devices can be used to covert commercially available equipment suitable for high assurance environments.

摘要: Various embodiments that pertain to cooling of a laser set are described. In one example, the lasers can be a set of laser diodes. A laser diode cooling system can create a vacuum environment that causes a coolant to be below atmospheric pressure. The coolant can be water supplied by an exchangeable tank. When the tank is empty, the tank can be replaced with a new tank.

摘要: A cover for the data ports disposed on opposite sides of a F-35 aircraft. The cover is macroscopically planar when not in use but flexible to conform to the curves on the sides of the F-35 airframe when the cover is attached. The cover is magnetically attached to three sides of a frame circumscribing air data port, but not attached on the forward side of the frame. This geometry provides for a covers which are symmetric and therefore usable with air data ports on both sides of the F-35 aircraft. The air data port cover does not have mechanical attachments or parts separable in use.

摘要: A method of thermally protecting a leading edge of a hypersonic system includes saturating an annular primary wick in contact with an evaporator and having a first pore size with a phase change material by means of an annularly-inward secondary wick having a second pore size and being coupled to a liquid line, the second pore size being larger than the first, where a first end of the secondary wick extends into a reservoir and a second end of the secondary wick extends into the evaporator, the second end of the secondary wick having a terminal end. The method includes terminating the liquid line inside of the evaporator, transferring thermal energy from the leading edge into the phase change material, raising the temperature of the phase change material to a phase-change temperature, changing phase of the phase change material, and carrying away heat from the leading edge.

Initial Tsk and HR complexities at rest may form a baseline or normalization factor used to individualize the system. In at least one embodiment, the ratio of HR complexity to Tsk complexity is an indication of the individual's thermoregulatory strain level with one implementation for the thermoregulatory strain index.
