摘要: An apparatus of generating an optical tweezers with momentum and method thereof and an optical tweezers photo-image for guiding particles are provided. The apparatus generates at least one optical tweezers on an examined object that carries at least one particle. The apparatus includes a laser source, a diffractive optical element and a convergent lens. The laser beam from the laser source passes through the diffractive optical element to produce a diffractive pattern. The laser beam is then received by the convergent lens and then to be focused on a plane of the examined object. The optic axis of the convergent lens is substantially not perpendicular to the plane of the examined object, so that the laser beam is projected onto the plane of the examined object in a skewed manner for providing a lateral momentum to move the particle.

摘要: An interactive apparatus has a base and a motion unit. The base has a first curved surface with a concave facing. The motion unit is located on the first curved surface and has a second curved surface with a convex facing contacting the first curved surface. In addition, the second curved surface has a curvature greater than that of the first curved surface. As the motion unit is steady on the first curved surface, a gravity center of the motion unit is located below a curvature center of the second curved surface.

摘要: An apparatus of generating optical tweezers with momentum is provided for providing optical tweezers with a first momentum on a test piece. The apparatus comprises a laser source, a diffractive optical element (DOE) and a lens. The laser source is for outputting a laser beam. The DOE has a first phase-delay picture, and the laser beam forms a diffraction pattern after passing the first phase-delay picture. The lens is for receiving and focusing the diffraction pattern on the test piece to form the first optical tweezers with the first momentum. The lens has an optical axis intersecting the DOE at an optical intersection point, a geometric center of the phase-delay picture has a displacement vector relative to the optical intersection point and a direction of the first momentum is related to a direction of the displacement vector.

摘要: A fluid particle-separating device includes a sorting, first and second diverting channels, a detector, a microprocessor, first and second actuators, and first and second sieving valves. The sorting channel receives fluid containing first and second particles. The first and second diverting channels guide the first and second particles. The detector recognizes the sizes and numbers of the first and second particles and outputs first and second recognition signals. The microprocessor receives the first and second recognition signals and outputs first and second control signals. The first and second sieving valves respectively inside the first and second diverting channels allow the particles to pass through or not. The first actuator receives the first control signal and controls the deformation of the second sieving valve to block the first particle. The second actuator receives the second control signal and controls the deformation of the first sieving valve to block the second particle.

摘要: A circuit and a method for self refresh of DRAM cells are provided. The circuit comprises a bias generator and an oscillator. The bias generator comprises a first current generator, a second current generator and a converter. The first current generator generates a first leakage current of “0” state cells. The second current generator generates a second leakage current of “1” state cells. The converter transforms a current comprising the first leakage current and the second leakage current into output biases. The method comprises generating leakage currents from memory cells; transforming the leakage currents into output biases for determining a self refresh period; and using the output biases to control an oscillator for generating a periodical signal pulse in response to the leakage currents.

摘要: A microinjector uses bubbles as virtual valves to eject droplets of different sizes. The microinjector is in fluid communications with a reservoir and has a substrate, an orifice layer, and a plurality of nozzles. The substrate has a manifold for receiving ink from the reservoir. The orifice layer is positioned on the top of the substrate so that a plurality of chambers are formed between the orifice layer and the top of the substrate. Each of the nozzles has an orifice and at least three bubble generating components. The bubble generating components are selectively driven by a driving circuit so that each nozzle can eject droplets of different sizes.
