摘要: The present invention relates to a method of inducing differentiation into a 3D dopaminergic midbrain organoid using a specific electromagnetic wave. It was specifically identified that the method makes it possible to remarkably improve production efficiency of a dopaminergic neuronal 3D-differentiated organoid, from which symptoms of Parkinson's disease can be effectively alleviated. Thus, it is anticipated that the present invention is capable of making a more fundamental approach and achieving targeted therapies in the treatment of a cranial nerve disease.

摘要: Compositions, systems, and methods for activating dendritic cells are disclosed. Also disclosed are compositions, systems, and methods for reducing viability of cancer cells and treating cancer, as well as preventing an increase in volume of a tumor present in a body of a living subject, along with methods of treating other diseases and infections. The systems and methods involve application of an alternating electric field to dendritic cell(s) in vivo or ex vivo and/or to a subject or cancer cells isolated therefrom. The systems and methods may further include administration of activated dendritic cells to a subject. The compositions comprise populations of isolated dendritic cells activated by exposure to an alternating electric field.

摘要: A sterilised platelet lysate obtained with a method for sterilising a platelet lysate in the liquid state comprising at least the endogenous growth factors TGF-beta 1, EGF, PDGF-AB, IGF-1, VEGF and bFGF. The method comprising freezing the liquid platelet lysate in order to obtain a frozen platelet lysate, and irradiating the frozen platelet lysate with ionising radiation in order to obtain a sterilised platelet lysate, the irradiation being adapted so as to preserve at least 80% of the concentration of at least one of the endogenous growth factors chosen from the group consisting of TGF-beta 1, EGF, PDGF-AB, IGF-1 and VEGF.

摘要: The present disclosure describes methods for intracellular electromanipulation of proteins using nanosecond pulsed electric fields (nsPEFs). The nsPEFs have effects on proteins in addition to permeabilizing cellular membranes. The nsPEFs induce a Ca2+-dependent dissipation of the mitochondria membrane potential (ΔΨm), which is enhanced when high frequency components are present in fast rise-fall waveforms. Ca2+ is shown to have little or no effect on propidium iodide uptake as a measure of plasma membrane poration and consequently intracellular membranes. Since Ca2+-regulated events are mediated by proteins, actions of nsPEFs on proteins that regulate and/or affect the mitochondria membrane potential are possible. Given that nsPEF-induced dissipation of ΔΨm was more effective when high frequency components were present in fast rise time waveforms, the effects on proteins are due to these high frequency components. These results present direct evidence that nsPEFs affect proteins and their functions by affecting their structure.
