    摘要: The invention relates to a composition comprising a) at least one polyolefin or vinyl polymer; b) at least one di- or poly-functional (co)polymer or (co)oligomer having a glass transition temperature of less than 10° C., wherein the functional group is a carbon-carbon double bond, an epoxy group, an amine group, a carboxylic acid group, a carboxylic acid ester group or a carboxylic anhydride group, an OH group, an SH group or an isocyanate group, and c) a multifunctional epoxide, which is different from the di- or poly-functional (co)polymer or (co)oligomer wherein the functional group is an epoxy group. The invention also relates to a method of improving the mechanical properties of polyolefins and to the polyolefin plastics articles produced thereby and to the use of di- or poly-functional (co)polymers or (co)oligomers having a glass transition temperature of less than 10° C. together with a multifunctional epoxy compound in improving the mechanical properties of polyolefins.

    摘要: A main brake cylinder, for use within an electronic braking system for motor vehicles, having a device for contactless monitoring of a position of a piston that can be linearly moved along a piston axis. The device includes a movable element and a sensor unit. The sensor unit is fixedly arranged on a housing of the main brake cylinder and is connected to an electronic evaluation unit for processing signals from the device. According to the invention, in order to further increase function precision, to lower manufacturing expenditure, number of components, and costs, to reduce overall length, and to improve calibration options, a magnetic field is realized such as to be emittable from the sensor unit, and a yoke is dedicated to the piston for position-dependently changing the magnetic field such that the change can be detected by the sensor unit.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a process for the preparation of a stabilized polyester that is low in the generation of aldehydes which comprises reacting one or more diacids with one or more diols in an esterification process, and/or one or more diesters with one or more diols in a transesterification process in the presence of an effective amount of a stabilizer selected from the group consisting of (a) a polyhydric alcohol which is for example poly(ethylene-co-vinyl alcohol), poly(styrene-co-allyl alcohol), maltitol, isomalt, sorbitol, xylitol, sucrose, mucic acid dibutylester, mucic acid di(phenyl-1-ethyl)ester, pentaerythritol or dipentaerythritol; (b) a compound of the formula II which is for example di-iso-octyl-phosphinic acid; (c) a sterically hindered amine which is for example Tinuvin 123 or Tinuvin 622; (d) a polyacrylamide, an anionic acrylic polymer or a cationic acrylamide copolymer; or (e) a hydroxylamine and/or a nitrone. Such polyesters, for example PET, when extrusion compounded exhibit a lower residual acetaldehyde content than does PET alone when similarly treated. The invention pertains to any polyester used in the manufacture of bottles or containers which in turn are used to store consumer materials, especially food, pharmaceuticals, beverages and most especially water.
