    Abstract: Rear console duct air flow of an air conditioner for a vehicle is provided. An inlet of the rear console duct which is in fluid communication with a rear console register is located at a position where conditioned-air which passes through an evaporator and a heater core flows. The inlet of the rear console is always opened such that the conditioned-air is always introduced into the rear console duct when the air conditioner is operated. A guide member, which guides the conditioned-air to the rear console register through the rear console duct, is disposed between the rear console duct inlet and a face duct inlet that is in fluid communication with a face register. An end of a face door selectively contacts the guide member selectively contacts the guide member when the face door makes a turning movement.

    Abstract: An air introducing intake of an HVAC system for a vehicle includes an intake case having a first outdoor air introducing hole and a second outdoor air introducing hole formed thereon and a partition part partitioning an inner space into a plurality of spaces. A first indoor and outdoor air door rotates by a first rotation shaft and selectively opens or closes a first indoor air introducing hole and the first outdoor air introducing hole. A second indoor and outdoor air door rotates by a second rotation shaft and selectively opens or closes a second indoor air introducing hole and the second outdoor air introducing hole. An actuator operates the first indoor and outdoor air door and the second indoor and outdoor air door by rotating the first rotation shaft and the second rotation shaft.

    Abstract: A vehicle thermal management system, may include an HVAC subsystem including a first compressor and a first refrigeration cycle including a first refrigerant loop fluidly connected to the first compressor; a battery cooling subsystem including a battery coolant loop fluidly connected to a battery pack; a powertrain cooling subsystem including a powertrain coolant loop fluidly connected to a powertrain component; a second refrigeration cycle including a second compressor, a condenser located on the downstream side of the second compressor, and a second refrigerant loop fluidly connected to the condenser; a refrigerant chiller mounted between the first refrigeration cycle and the second refrigeration cycle and configured to transfer heat between the first refrigeration cycle and the second refrigeration cycle; and a battery chiller mounted between the second refrigeration cycle and the battery coolant loop and configured to transfer heat between the second refrigeration cycle and the battery coolant loop. The condenser of the second refrigeration cycle is thermally connected to at least one of the battery coolant loop and the powertrain coolant loop.
