    摘要: An aftertreatment system for an engine is provided. The aftertreatment system includes a housing member having a bottom end and a top end. The housing member includes an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber defined adjacent to the bottom end and the top end, respectively. The inlet chamber is configured to receive exhaust gas via an inlet port which is coupled to an exhaust conduit of the engine to receive exhaust gas. The outlet chamber is configured to discharge the exhaust gas via an outlet port which is coupled to an exhaust pipe to discharge exhaust gas. The housing member also includes a catalytic chamber disposed between the inlet chamber and the outlet chamber. The aftertreatment system includes one or more catalyst carrying members disposed within the catalytic chamber. The one or more catalyst carrying members are configured to communicate with the inlet chamber to receive exhaust gas therethrough.

    摘要: A moveable plow for a locomotive suitable for operating in sandy environments is provided. The moveable plow comprises a body and a wearable lip. The body forms a curl at its top edge along substantially the entire body width to channel the flow of sand outwardly. The lip is removably affixed to the body and contacts a rail. The moveable plow is attached to a bogie by a pneumatically operated height adjusting mechanism that can raise or lower the moveable plow. The moveable plow and rail define a sweep angle equal to or greater than an angle of repose of the sand in the surrounding environment.

The cameras are strategically mounted to the locomotive such that each camera is configured to capture a video stream of an environment associated with the locomotive. The controller is remotely disposed from and communicably coupled to each of the cameras over a wireless network. The controller is configured to receive a plurality of video streams from the plurality of cameras. The graphical user interface (GUI) is communicably coupled to the controller. The GUI is configured to display the plurality of video streams received at the controller. In embodiments disclosed herein, the controller is operable for modulating various operating parameters of the locomotive based on the environment associated with the locomotive, as determined from one or more video streams transmitted by the cameras.

A vent opening may be disposed at the second end. The suppressor may include an acoustic core between the outlet of the conduit and the vent opening and configured to reduce a sound level of fluids exiting the conduit. The suppressor may include a thermal mass between the outlet of the conduit and the vent opening, wherein the thermal mass includes fluid channels and is configured to transfer heat energy to fluids exiting the conduit.
