    Abstract: A device for treating exhaust gases includes at least one purification member with a substrate for purifying the exhaust gases, a heat exchanger axially located beyond an axial end of the substrate, a body, a valve comprising a flap arranged in an internal volume of the body. An exchanger inlet and exchanger outlet open into the internal volume. At least 45% of a volume of the body is in a virtual space located in an axial extension of one or more purification substrate(s). The body comprises at least one first orifice in fluid communication with a purification member outlet, and a second orifice defining an outlet for the exhaust gases.

    Abstract: A sensor head, capable of sampling and maximizing a stream of gas before transmitting the stream of gas to a sensitive element of a sensor, includes a guide and a capsule. The guide is substantially cylindrical according to a first axis, hollow and closed with an exception of a flow inlet comprising two openings facing each other, pierced in the guide along a second axis substantially perpendicular and coplanar to the first axis, and a flow outlet comprising a hole drilled in the guide along the first axis. The capsule is substantially cylindrical along a third axis substantially parallel to the first axis, including the guide, hollow and closed with an exception of a mouth pierced in the generating surface of the capsule according to a fourth axis substantially perpendicular to the first axis and to the second axis and substantially perpendicular and coplanar to the third axis. A sensor, preferably of the photoacoustic type, includes such a head.

    Abstract: An exhaust valve comprises a substantially tubular body, defining a passage section and extending along an extension axis, and a flap positioned in the tubular body across the passage section. The flap rotates about an axis of rotation, secant to the extension axis, between a closed orientation where the flap closes off the passage section and an open orientation where the flap frees the passage section. The tubular body comprises two flanges that are substantially symmetrical to one another and an annular sealing ring is positioned and maintained between the two flanges.

    Abstract: A brazing process includes placing an accessory on a tube and interposing a brazing material between a bearing surface of the tube and a complementary bearing surface of the accessory. The brazing material is melted. The bearing surface and the complementary bearing surface together define a chamber having a converging portion whose height perpendicular to the bearing surface decreases radially away from the orifice. The converging portion of the chamber has a radial width greater than one times the thickness of the tube, so that the brazing material is distributed by capillary action in the chamber, and binds the bearing surface and the complementary bearing surface to one another.

    Abstract: A mixer for mixing a fluid solution, such as a diesel exhaust fluid for selective catalytic reduction, with a gas, such as an exhaust gas, includes a mixing chamber with a general cylinder shape obtained by translation of a polarly period section along a first axis. The fluid solution is sprayed in the mixing chamber by way of a first axial end thereof. The gas enters the mixing chamber through openings formed in a generatrix surface of said mixing chamber, and the mixture exits through a second axial end opposite the first axial end. The polarly period section is shaped in a star, obtained by polarly periodically repeating an elementary profile, comprising an opening defined by a first angle between a first segment passing through the two ends of said opening and a radial line passing through the distal end of said first segment.

The driving member has a driving contact element in flat or linear abutment on a complementary driving contact element of the intermediate member.
