Abstract:
An over voltage and surge voltage preventing circuit for a display module includes resistors that divide an input voltage. A first switching device is turned on when a voltage-divided value made by the resistors is larger than a reference voltage. A second switching device is connected to an output terminal of the first switching device to carry out a switching operation contrary to the first switching device. A third switching device has a control terminal connected to an output terminal of the second switching device to carry out the same switching operation as the second switching device, thereby shutting off said over voltage to output only a normal input voltage. A time constant circuit delays an input voltage supplied from a turn-on time of the power supply by a predetermined time constant to prevent a generation of surge voltage.

A liquid crystal display for automatically adjusting a swing of a gamma reference voltage which is used for determining a gray scale level of a frame that is driven with a doubled frame frequency in real time is disclosed. In the liquid crystal display, a frequency converter doubles a frame frequency of an inputted frame to generate a doubled odd numbered frame and a doubled even numbered frame. A timing controller generates a gamma swing control signal which controls a swing of a gamma reference voltage which is used for determining gray scale levels of the doubled odd numbered frame and the doubled even numbered frame. And a gamma reference voltage generator generates first gamma reference voltages having a different level corresponding to a high gray scale and second gamma reference voltages having a different level corresponding to a low gray scale, and the gamma reference voltage generator inversely swings the first gamma reference voltages of high gray scale and the second gamma reference voltages of low gray scale in accordance with the gamma swing control signal for a driving period of the doubled odd numbered frame and inversely swings the first gamma reference voltages of high gray scale and the second gamma reference voltages of low gray scale in accordance with the gamma swing control signal for a driving period of the doubled even numbered frame.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to an artificial transcription factor which can artificially regulate gene expression of an E. coli, wherein the transcription factor comprising zinc finger proteins and transcription factors of prokaryote, and to be engineered E. coli using the same. Specifically, the artificial transcription factors comprising zinc finger domains and transcription factors in E. coli as effector domains are prepared and said artificial transcription library is introduced to E. coli to effectively and artificially regulate gene expression regardless of an activity of endogenous transcription factors in the E. coli and to induce E. coli having various desired phenotypes. Thus, only E. coli having the desired phenotypes useful for industries can be selected and used.
Abstract:
Ultralong carbon nanotubes can be formed by placing a secondary chamber within a reactor chamber to restrict a flow to provide a laminar flow. Inner shells can be successively extracted from multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) such as by applying a lateral force to an elongated tubular sidewall at a location between its two ends. The extracted shells can have varying electrical and mechanical properties that can be used to create useful materials, electrical devices, and mechanical devices.
