The system of the present invention primarily uses adaptive metrics, biometrics and thermal imaging sensory analysis (including additional input sensors for analysis) for monitoring and control with the utilization of an integrated artificial intelligence and automation control system, thus providing a balanced, environmentally-friendly ecosystem.
Abstract:
Catalyst activator, in particular, a catalyst activator for heat conditioning a catalyst. The activator includes a vessel for containing a catalyst charge having an internal diameter of at least 1.2 meters and/or an internal volume of at least 5 m3; a fluidisation grid plate disposed in the vessel, the fluidisation grid plate having an upper major surface and a lower major surface; an array of generally conical depressions in the upper major surface that overlap by less than 17%; and an array of holes perforating the fluidisation grid plate, the holes extending from at least some of the generally conical depressions through the lower surface.
Abstract:
A system and method for implementing multiple versions of a plug-in concurrently are provided herein. The method includes identifying a plug-in within a multi-plug-in platform that is configured to provide a desired functionality. The method also includes executing a first version and a second version of the plug-in concurrently to provide the desired functionality, wherein each version of the plug-in is isolated from the other version of the plug-in.
Abstract:
A saw guide is attached to a circular saw to help make straight, accurate cuts along a line a desired distance from an edge of an object, such as a piece of wood. The guide includes a fence that can fold up by one or more hinges to store the fence out of the way when not in use, allowing the saw to be used like a conventional saw. The fence can be pivoted down, extending at about a 90 degree angle from the saw base, generally parallel to the radius of the saw blade. The distance from the saw blade and the fence can be adjusted and locked into place to make a cut having a desired width.
Abstract:
A fused filament fabrication printer uses a plurality of fixed printing heads mounted to a structure over a build platform on which the model is built by constructing each layer of the model as the build platform is indexed through a multiplicity of successive print planes. The build platform may be in the form of a circular disk mounted for rotation about a z-axis and for linear motion along the z-axis between successive print planes, and for linear motion along a y-axis which is a selected radial direction perpendicular to the z-axis. Because the printheads are fixed, multiple printheads are easily affixed with respect to the build platform along the same radial line defining the y-axis transverse to the selected radial direction along which the build platform moves.
Abstract:
Provided is a consumer to industrial scale energy trigeneration process based microgrid combined cooling, heat and power. The present invention includes conversion, processing, extraction and/or storage systems for electrical, chemical and thermal energy. The invention provides a quintessential renewable energy ecosystem incorporating vital energy generation, thermal heating and cooling processes with integrated components installed to encompass a distributed renewable energy generation, energy storage and integrated automation system. The automation system of the invention provides the ability to view, monitor, analyze, control and interact with system components.
Abstract:
Impact resistant fiber optic enclosures for fiber optic components and related methods are disclosed. In one embodiment, a fiber optic enclosure is provided and comprises a housing comprising a base, a cover, and a seal disposed between the cover and the base to secure the cover to the base and define an interior cavity configured to support one or more fiber optic components. At least one expandable joint is disposed in the housing and configured to deflect and/or assist in deflecting an impact load applied to the housing. In this manner, any fiber optic components disposed in the interior cavity are protected from being damaged and/or from being exposed to the environment outside of the interior cavity. The at least one expandable joint may be disposed in at least one of the cover and the base. The at least one expandable joint may comprise two expandable joints as another example.
Abstract:
An interbody spacer comprising a series of stacked walls connected by a common base, wherein the spacer collapses when pressed into an access delivery tube. During insertion, the walls can flex as a unit, like bending a deck of cards, to traverse bends in the access tube. Upon distally exiting the portal of the access delivery tube, the walls track apart (like spreading fingers) to create a wide base of support for the vertebral body endplate. A graft delivery device that uses a conveyor belt-type approach to deliver bone graft from the device to a location in a patient. In some embodiments, the conveyor-belt is manually actuated.
Abstract:
A cover glass article includes a glass body having a three-dimensional shape, an inside surface, and an outside surface. Each of the inside and outside surfaces has a surface roughness (Ra) less than 1 nm and is free of indentations having diameters larger than 150 μm.
