Abstract:
In a flow amount control device, column shaped valve element is slidably disposed in a cylindrical inner circumferential wall of a valve body. The valve element is provided along an outer circumference thereof with two ring shaped grooves. Fuel stored in the ring shaped grooves serves to form film of oil for lubrication in a sliding clearance between the valve element and the valve body so that frictional resistance therebetween is smaller and the valve element slides smoothly on the valve body. Accordingly, the device can control flow amount of fuel accurately.
Abstract:

Abstract:
An ink cartridge retains a plurality of solid inks, each of which is to be heated and dissolved so that the dissolved ink is used for recording record information. The ink cartridge is provided with: a cartridge main body in which the solid inks are aligned and retained; and a plurality of gap members disposed in the cartridge main body for prescribing a gap between each pair of the aligned solid inks adjacent to each other in the cartridge main body.
Abstract:
An optical code reader includes a reading window, a reading control circuit for sensing an image of a 2-dimensional code via the reading window in a state where the reading window is set within a preset distance from the 2-dimensional code and converting the sensed image into image data, a guide light source for applying a guide light beam to permit the 2-dimensional code to be guided within the reading range of the reading control circuit, and a portable frame having an opening used as the reading window, for accommodating the reading control circuit and guide light source. In the optical code reader, the guide light beam indicates the center of the reading range and is applied from the guide light source except for a period during which the image of the 2-dimensional code is sensed by the reading control circuit.

The above-mentioned compounds are useful as a gastrointestinal prokinetic agent used for the therapy of digestive tract diseases.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a printer with a sheet feeding apparatus having a printer body incorporating a printing mechanism for printing onto continuous forms. A cutter is provided close to a continuous forms discharging port on the printer case. Following the cutter downstream, there is provided a sheet feeding belt that rotates at a rate higher than the feed rate of the continuous forms. Along the belt, there are provided a sheet traversing section, a sheet direction changing section, a sheet pushing section and a sheet stacker, in that order from upstream to downstream. The sheet traversing section seizes and feeds horizontally each sheet cut by the cutter. The sheet direction changing section perpendicularly changes the feed direction of each cut sheet. The sheet pushing section pushes each sheet onto the sheet stacker where an orderly stack of sheets is formed.
Abstract:
A dot-matrix impact printer, including a print head including a piezoelectric element, and a print wire which is movable from a non-operated position thereof to an operated position thereof, owing to displacement of the piezoelectric element, to produce an imprint on a surface of a recording medium. The printer uses a piezoelectric control device which is responsive to a wire activation command, for applying a controlled drive voltage to the piezoelectric element to thereby activate the print wire to the operated position, wherein the drive voltage includes a static voltage which decreases with increasing paper thickness and which gets the wire close to the paper, and a dynamic voltage which provides the print force and increases with increasing paper thickness.
