    摘要: A truck cab suspension system provides improved durability of the truck cab structure by reducing twisting forces applied to the cab frame from the suspension system. The suspension system provides support to the rear sill of the truck by positioning two air springs on either side of the vehicle center line under the sill and two shock absorbers aligned along the vehicle center line between the air springs. The forces applied to the cab frame rear sill balance one another avoiding twisting.

    摘要: A liquid-immersed disc brake has a housing containing rotatable and stationary members operated by a wedge device for brake actuation from actuating means. The brake is supplied with cooling liquid, of which the flow is controlled by a valve, a portion of which is incorporated into the housing. The valve is closed by action thereon of the actuator means and opened so as to admit cooling liquid to the brake as a result of the actuator means performing an actuating movement.

    摘要: In a master cylinder and booster assembly for a vehicle hydraulic system, the booster has a housing provided with a bore, an inlet connected to a source of hydraulic pressure, and an outlet connected to a booster reservoir, input and boost pistons working in the bore and a boost chamber for pressurization by fluid from the source, under the control of valve means, to actuate the boost piston which in turn actuates the master cylinder. The booster has a permanent connection between the boost chamber and the outlet and a connection between the source and the boost chamber which is closed when the booster is inoperative and open during operation. In order to provide a supply of fluid for a master cylinder reservoir, the booster has a feed passage leading from the bore to the master cylinder reservoir and an overflow passage leading from that reservoir to the outlet. The master cylinder reservoir includes a partition separating it into an active part containing the feed and overflow passages, and a passive part containing an outlet port for connection to the master cylinder. The partition includes a passage allowing limited fluid flow between the active and passive parts.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for uniformly distributing fluid across the entire cross section of a reaction medium and for compensating for volumetric changes in the reaction medium utilized a resilient membrane which cooperates with an adjacent fluid manifold distribution chamber. The combined operation of the manifold distribution chamber with the resilient membrane provides a low resistance to fluid flow in a direction transverse to fluid flow through the reaction medium and a higher resistance to fluid flow across the membrane in the direction of fluid flow through the reaction medium. In this way, fluid is evenly distributed across the cross section of the reaction medium prior to entering the reaction medium and after leaving the reaction medium. The resilient membranes have reserve expansion capabilities, when hydrated, to accommodate expansion in the reaction medium. The resilient membranes are also sufficiently resilient to accommodate expansion of the reaction medium when necessary.

    摘要: An I.V. infusion or blood collection apparatus comprises an I.V. infusion set (100) and a safety shield (200). The I.V. infusion set has a wing body (105) from which a pair of wings (140) extend outward there from and a grip (145) extending upward there from. One end of the wing body mounts a needle (120) or catheter and medical tubing (130) is connected to the opposite end. The wing body includes a bore so that fluid flows between the needle and the medical tubing. A safety shield has a top, a bottom and opposing side walls and defines a cavity (227) that is adapted to receive the I.V. infusion set. The safety shield has slots (250) in each of the side walls and a slot (255) in the top. The respective wings and grip are adapted to be positioned in the slots and to slidably move therein. The slot in the top includes a lock that is adapted to receive the grip so that when the needle is retracted into the cavity; the grip is permanently captured therein, thus locking the needle in the fully retracted safety position.

The offboard planner may also be configured to generate an excavation plan based on the first, second, and third inputs. The control system may further have a controller configured to autonomously control the mobile excavation machine based on the first and second signals and based on the excavation plan.
