    Abstract: A production method for a cyclic olefin copolymer which is capable of efficiently producing a cyclic olefin copolymer by copolymerizing monomers including a norbornene monomer and ethylene while suppressing the formation of a polyethylene-like impurity. The monomers including a norbornene monomer and ethylene are polymerized in the presence of a metallocene catalyst containing a cyclopentadiene ligand which is substituted with an alkyl group optionally substituted with a halogen atom, or a trialkylsilyl group, and satisfies specific conditions for substituent(s).

    Abstract: Provided is a breaker capable of further downsizing without impairing rigidity and strength of a case. The breaker 1 comprises a fixed contact 21, a movable piece 4 having and pressing a movable contact 41 to the fixed contact 21, a thermally responsive element 5 for moving the movable piece 4 to separate the movable contact 41 from the fixed contact 21 by deformation thereof responding to temperature change, a case for containing the fixed piece 21, the movable piece 4 and the thermally responsive element 5, and a cover piece 8 attached on the case 7. The case 7 has an end face 72 on which the cover piece 8 is disposed, a containing recess 73 caved from the end face 72 and forming a space to which the movable piece 4 and the thermally responsive element 5 are contained, and a first protrusion protruding from the end face 72 and to which the cover piece 8 is fitted.

    Abstract: A polyarylene sulfide-based resin composition is disclosed containing a polyarylene sulfide-based resin A, an inorganic filler B, and olefinic copolymers C and D each having predetermined structural units, wherein: the inorganic filler B contains a fibrous inorganic filler B1 having a different diameter ratio of 1.5 or less and a fibrous inorganic filler B2 having a different diameter ratio of 3.0 or more; a mass ratio B1/B2 of the fibrous inorganic filler B1 and the fibrous inorganic filler B2 is 0.2 or more and 5.0 or less; and the contents of the olefinic copolymers C and D are respectively 3 parts by mass or more and less than 19 parts by mass and 3 parts by mass or more and 30 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polyarylene sulfide-based resin A.

    Abstract: A polyacetal resin composition capable of minimizing degradation when a molded body thereof comes into contact with an acidic cleaner. The polyacetal resin composition contains with respect to (A) 100 parts by mass of a polyacetal copolymer in which the amount of a hemiformal end group is 0.8 mmol/kg or less, (B) more than 1.0 parts by mass and at most 5.0 parts by mass of a hindered phenol-based antioxidant, and (C) more than 4.0 parts by mass and at most 30 parts by mass of magnesium oxide.
