摘要： The present invention provides a set of electrode plates for rolled electrochemical component and a cell comprising it. The set of electrode plates comprises a stripe-shaped first electrode plate, a stripe-shaped second electrode plate and a stripe-shaped separator, said separator being positioned between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate, and these three being revolved into a roll in the length direction, wherein said first electrode plate comprising a stripe-shaped first collector and the active material coated on the surface of said first collector, said second electrode plate comprising a stripe-shaped second collector and the active material coated on the surface of said second collector, a first exposed portion with a predetermined width on which the active material are not coated being formed on at least one of two terminals in a width direction of the first electrode plate to constitute a first collecting section, a second exposed portion with a predetermined width on which the active material are not coated being formed on at least one of two terminals in a width direction of the second electrode plate to constitute a second collecting section, a structure for preventing sharp crippling is formed on at least one of said first collecting section and said second collecting section in at least the innermost periphery of the set of electrode plates. Hence, a high quality component having reliable and stable electrical connection between the collecting section and the collecting plate thereof and prevented from inner short-circuit in the set of roll-shaped electrode plates can be obtained.

摘要： A battery pack is made up of a plurality of flat prismatic batteries arranged face to face, each battery having one electrode terminal protruding from one end face in the height direction of the battery case and this end face or a side face of the battery serving as the other electrode terminal. The connector for electrically connecting adjacent prismatic batteries includes a flat part that is welded to one electrode terminal of one prismatic battery of the adjacent prismatic batteries, and a cylindrical part that is fitted onto and welded to the other electrode terminal of the other prismatic battery. The cylindrical part is formed in an attachment part that extends from the flat part through an upright part in the direction in which the batteries are aligned. The connector enables reliable electrical connection of the prismatic batteries despite possible variation in height of the electrode terminals.

摘要： A secondary battery includes a cylindrical battery case, a positive and negative electrode body group, a top plate and a battery lid connected to first and second electrode bodies of the electrode body group respectively. The secondary battery further includes a current collector placed on an end of the electrode body group on the top plate side and connected to the first electrode body of the electrode body group and a spacer placed between the top plate and the current collector. The top plate is partly formed with a thin portion. The spacer is formed with through holes in positions corresponding to the thin portion. The portion of the current collector corresponding to the thin portion is in contact with the thin portion through the through hole. The thin portion is deformed when the internal pressure of the battery case rises, thereby breaking electric connection between the top plate and the current collector.

The at least two conductive materials comprises at least two conductive materials different from each other. The at least one PTC composition may comprise a first PTC composition which comprises a first resin and at least one first conductive material and a second PTC composition which is compounded with the first PTC composition and comprises a second resin and at least one second conductive material. The at least one first conductive material is at least partially different from the at least one second conductive material. One of the first resin and the second resin may comprise a reactant resin and a reactive resin which is cross-linked with the reactant resin. The PTC resistor may comprise a flame retardant agent. The PTC resistor may comprise a liquid-resistant resin.

摘要： A secondary battery has a so-called tabless structure. An electrode group (4) includes an exposed end (1a) and a body portion (5). In the exposed end (1a), a current collector is exposed. In the body portion (5), an active material is provided on a surface of the current collector. A current collector plate (10) includes a principal surface (11) to which the electrode group (4) is connected, and projections (13) provided on the periphery of the principal surface (11). Moreover, in a direction in which a positive electrode plate (1), a porous insulating layer (3) and a negative electrode plate (2) are sequentially arranged, a width of the current collector plate (10) is equal to or smaller than a width of the body portion (5). Furthermore, the projections (13) sandwich the exposed end (1a) in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the exposed end (1a).

摘要： A sealed rechargeable battery containing an electrode unit and a liquid electrolyte in a metallic case with a bottom that is sealed with a closure assembly. The electrode unit includes a positive electrode and a negative electrode, each made up of a collector and electrode material paste coated thereon, wound around with a separator interposed therebetween. The closure assembly includes a metallic filter that forms an internal terminal and accommodates a safety mechanism provided in case of abnormal pressure rise caused by overcharging etc, a resin inner gasket, and a metallic cap that forms an external terminal superposed upon one another. A resin inner gasket is attached to the metallic filter and the end edge of the metallic filter is crimped to provide a seal. The metallic filter and all the metallic parts encased in the metallic filter are joined together by welding. This closure assembly design enables high power output and high-current discharge of the battery with low resistance.
