摘要： The technology described herein relates to a method in a gateway device and a gateway device for handling a context of a UE moving from a source HeNB (220) to a target HeNB. The gateway device is configured to receive a path switch request message from the source HeNB including a first pair of IDs and the gateway device is configured to transmit a second path switch request message to an MME including a second pair of IDs associated to the first pair of IDs. When the gateway device receives a UE context release request message from the source HeNB, the gateway device determines whether IDs in this message are associated to the same second pair of IDs. If this is the case, the gateway device maintains the UE context otherwise the gateway device releases or de-allocates the UE context.

摘要： A method, a device and a base station for controlling handover are described. In order to control handover from a source base station to a target base station in a wireless communication system, where the target base station controls multiple cells, preference levels for candidate cells to be used as a target cell for the handover are received from the target base station; and handover parameters for the candidate cells are adjusted by taking the preference levels into account when selecting the target cell for the handover. With the present invention, at least benefits of target eNB inter-cell interference coordination, load optimization among cells, tendency to dedicated-configured cell etc. may be achieved.

摘要： In one aspect, the present invention comprises an apparatus and method for improving energy saving procedures in a wireless communication network, wherein one or more cells in the network are selectively inactivated for energy savings and reactivated as needed. More particularly, the present invention provides improved control for transitioning a cell to or from a power savings mode, including dynamic, adjustable power control and handover parameter control, based on the involved cells exchanging status and/or control information. The dynamic control results in gradual rather than abrupt changes to cell coverage area, as a cell is transitioned to or from the power savings mode.

The management may involve a source network node (401A) delaying or preventing the sending of a user equipment timing offset measurement to a target network node (401B) or sending an indication or a reliability of the user equipment timing offset measurement. The network node (401A, 401B) may further apply a compensation to the user equipment timing offset measurement to account for an expected behavior of the user equipment based on the mobility profile. The network node (401A, 401B) may also adapt an uplink search window based on the user equipment mobility profile.

摘要： A core network receives in an uplink message a first list of closed subscriber groups (CSGs) located within one gateway domain to which mobility is possible for a user equipment UE. The core network creates a third list by checking the first list received in the uplink message against a second list which is the UE's allowed CSG list, and sends the third list downlink to at least one of a serving gateway of the UE or a serving access node of the UE. In one embodiment the first list consists of all CSGs within a domain of the respective serving gateway/access node; and in another embodiment it consists of all neighbor closed subscriber group cells of the respective serving gateway/access node which sent the uplink message to the core network. In different embodiments the third list is a whitelist or a blacklist.
