It incorporates a twenty-two inch structure terminating in a protective cover with a loop for tool belt engagement by personnel climbing on chemical product processing equipment. The protective cover is removed by a quarter turn twist-lock mechanism. The test equipment includes a cylinder, a piston therein, heads at the opposite ends of the cylinder and valves to admit a sample measured thereto and further admitting product into the chamber and then from the chamber to test equipment through suitable control valve mechanisms.

    摘要: The purge valve assembly is designed for use with a constant pressure sample cylinder for purging of the cylinder prior to installation in the field for collection of spot and composite samples. The purge valve assembly can be installed in newly manufactured constant pressure sample cylinders or can be added as an after market item. The purge valve assembly consists of a retainer which compresses a sealing element into engagement with an end cap to prevent fluid from bypassing the retainer. A valve element is urged into engagement with the sealing element by a spring thus closing the valve and preventing the escape of any fluid from the sample cylinder. To open the valve a valve actuator is manually depressed thus dislodging the valve element from sealing engagement with the sealing member thus allowing fluid to be vented to atmosphere or purged. An alternative embodiment combines the valve element and valve activator into an integral element. In another embodiment two sealing elements are used instead of one.

    摘要: A removable automatic insertion device with segmented drainage shaft may be used to remove unwanted liquids from pipelines, tanks and other pressurized vessels. The insertion device inserts and withdraws the drainage shaft, one segment at a time into the pipeline or other pressurized vessel. A termination assembly is connected to the subsurface end of the drainage shaft and includes a normally closed drainage valve assembly. After insertion of the drainage shaft, the automatic insertion device is removed and a surface mounted discharge assembly is connected to the drainage shaft. To open the drainage valve assembly and commence drainage of unwanted liquids, pressurized fluid is injected through the discharge assembly, and a segmented hollow actuation tube to open the subsurface drainage valve assembly. Unwanted fluids then pass through the open drainage valve assembly, the drainage shaft to the surface mounted discharge assembly.

    摘要: The present invention relates to various embodiments of a reusable handle with a cable tie for carrying a bag. A handle can be connected to an open end of a bag by means of a cable tie to provide a bag carrying system. The present handle generally comprises a body having a hand-grip portion and a strap receiving channel defined therein; and a mounting section attached to the body, the mounting section including a socket defined therein and adapted for receiving a cable tie such that a locking head of the cable tie is held in place within the socket. A distal end of the strap is inserted through the socket, through the strap receiving channel and through the strap receiving opening of the cable tie to form a loop such that the strap is locked within the locking head.
