Abstract: Dynamic roaming partner prioritization based on service quality feedback may be provided. First, a server associated with an enterprise may receive performance data and location data for each of a plurality of service provider networks from a plurality of end use devices associated with the enterprise. Next, the server may assign a ranking to a plurality of service providers by location based upon information. The information may comprise the received performance data and the location data corresponding to each of the plurality of service provider networks. The server may then push the ranking to a first end use device.

Abstract: Low latency wireless communications may be provided. A client device may be authorized for a first association in response to the client device making a first concurrent association request that may include a first Media Access Control (MAC) address. In response to authorizing the client device for the first association, an Endpoint Identifier (EID) associated with the client device may be registered with a first Routing Locator (RLOC) in a map server, the first RLOC being associated with the first MAC address. The client device may then be authorized for a second association in response to the client device making a second concurrent association request that includes a second MAC address. In response to authorizing the client device for the second association, the EID associated with the client device may be registered with a second RLOC in the map server, the second RLOC being associated with the second MAC address.

Abstract: A network management center includes a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server. The network management center obtains from an identity server, client information indicating authentication of a client device in a wireless network that is connected to a network fabric. The network management center obtains from an edge node in the network fabric an Internet Protocol (IP) address request for the client device. The IP address request including a fabric domain identifier associated with the edge node. The network management center allocates an IP address for the client device based on the client information obtained from the identity server and the fabric domain identifier contained in the IP address request obtained from the edge node. The network management center provides to the edge node an Identifier Locator Addressing (ILA) address based on the IP address.

Abstract: Dynamic policy mapping is provided via mapping, by an Access Point (AP), a plurality of applications to a set of privilege groups for Quality of Service (QoS) levels in a network; transmitting the mapping of the privilege groups to a client device; receiving packets from the client device including QoS markers; and in response to determining that the QoS markers received from the client device do not match the privilege groups for the packets, performing a corrective action on the client device, wherein the corrective action includes one or more of: disassociating the client device from the network; and retransmitting the set of privilege groups to the client device. In some embodiments, the privilege groups are transmitted before the client device is associated with the AP, enabling the client device to select what AP to associate with based on the privilege groups.

Abstract: In one embodiment, an apparatus comprising networking circuitry adapted to receive, at a mobile network operated by an SP, flows associated with enterprise applications executing on device(s) in an enterprise network, the device(s) including a CPE and/or one or more devices behind the CPE, and processing circuitry adapted to vary, during a duration in which there is IP connectivity between the CPE and the mobile network, a pool of dedicated bearers for binding the flows, in response to at least part of changes occurring during the duration with respect to the flows, wherein the changes include variations during the duration in number of the flows and/or differences during the duration in detected characteristics of the flows, the detected characteristics of the flows having been detected based on inspection of respective packet(s) of the flows, and bind at least part of the flows to respective dedicated bearers included in the pool.

Abstract: Techniques are described for extending a cellular quality of service bearer through an enterprise fabric network. In one example, a method obtaining, by a first switch of a network, a packet to be delivered to a client connected to the network via a cellular access point; identifying quality of service (QoS) bearer information associated with the packet, wherein the QoS bearer information is associated with a radio access bearer for the client and the QoS bearer information comprises a bearer indicator and a QoS class identifier; providing a fabric tunnel encapsulation for the packet, wherein the bearer indicator and the QoS class identifier are included within the fabric tunnel encapsulation of the packet; and forwarding the packet within the fabric tunnel encapsulation toward a second switch of the network via a fabric tunnel, wherein the cellular access point is connected to the network via the second switch.

Abstract: Techniques are described for integrating cellular access within an enterprise fabric. In one example, a method includes obtaining, by a cellular termination function via a cellular access point, a request from a client for data plane connectivity via a network, wherein the cellular access point is registered within the network and is in communication with a first switch of the network; obtaining, by the cellular termination function, cellular policy information and enterprise policy information for the client; obtaining, by the cellular termination function, an Internet Protocol (IP) address for the client; and establishing data plane connectivity for the client with the network via the cellular access point, the first switch of the network, and a second switch of the network based, at least in part, on the IP address for the client, wherein the second switch connects the network with one or more data networks.
