Abstract:
A purified nucleic acid segment encoding a functionally active hyaluronan receptor for endocytosis (HARE) or an active peptide fragment thereof, and methods for producing functionally active HARE or an active peptide fragment thereof therefrom, wherein the functionally active HARE or an active peptide fragment thereof is able to specifically bind HA, chondroitin and chondroitin sulfate.
Abstract:
A dual-mass flywheel including a primary mass that can be connected to the drive shaft of an internal combustion engine, and a secondary mass that can be connected to the input shaft of a transmission. The masses are positioned in an axial manner in relation to each other, and concentrically by means of at least one positioning device. The masses can be rotated at least in a defining manner counter to the effects of a damping device including energy accumulators. The energy accumulators are arranged in an annular, ring-like chamber that is formed by components of the primary mass and that also contains a viscous medium.
Abstract:
A coupling system including at least two sub-units, one of which is pre-assembled on the engine side of a motor vehicle drive train, namely on the output shaft of the engine, and the other sub-unit is pre-assembled on the transmission side of the drive train. The pre-assembled sub-units each include respective interengaging teeth to provide a positive drive connection, and the teeth are biased toward each other to reduce circumferential play and thereby reduce noise that would be generated during operation of the drive train.

Abstract:
Techniques are disclosed for distributing data in a content delivery network configured to provide edge services using a plurality of service providers. Data indicative of data usage and cost data for the plurality of service providers is accessed. Based on the accessed data, an effective unit cost, multiplex efficiency, and channel utilization are determined for a selected user. A Bayesian optimization algorithm is applied to at least a portion of the accessed data. The content delivery network is configured to redistribute data traffic for the selected user based on a result of the applied Bayesian optimization algorithm.
Abstract:
A hook pose detecting equipment and a crane with the hook pose detecting equipment, in which the hook pose detecting equipment comprises an angle measuring apparatus for obtaining the angle between an axis in a second coordinate system and the corresponding axis in a first coordinate system, an acceleration measuring meter for obtaining the acceleration of the hook in a predetermined direction, a processor for building the first coordinate system and the second coordinate system, and an output equipment. The first coordinate system is relatively fixed with a predetermined location, and the second coordinate system is relatively fixed with the hook. The processor obtains the pose parameters of the hook in the first coordinate system according to the angle obtained by the angle measuring apparatus and the acceleration obtained by the acceleration measuring meter. The operator is able to take appropriate hook-stabilizing measures according to the pose parameters, and thus the efficiency of lifting work is increased.
Abstract:
Event audio data that is based on verbal utterances associated with a pharmaceutical event associated with a patient may be received. Medical history information associated with the patient may be obtained, based on information included in a medical history repository. At least one text string that matches at least one interpretation of the event audio data may be obtained, based on information included in a pharmaceutical speech repository, information included in a speech accent repository, and a drug matching function, the at least one text string being associated with a pharmaceutical drug. One or more adverse drug event (ADE) alerts may be determined based on matching the at least one text string and medical history attributes associated with the at least one patient with ADE attributes obtained from an ADE repository. An ADE alert report may be generated, based on the determined one or more ADE alerts.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to an organosilicon porous zeolite, preparation of the same, and use of the same. The organosilicon porous zeolite of the invention has the following composition on molar basis: (1/n)Al2O3:SiO(2-m/2):mR:xM, wherein n=5 to 1000, m=0.001 to 1, x=0.005 to 2, R is at least one selected from the group consisting of alkyl, alkenyl and phenyl and connected to a silicon atom in the framework of the zeolite, and M is an organic amine templating agent, wherein a solid Si29NMR spectrum of the zeolite has at least one Si29 nuclear magnetic resonance peak in the range of from −80 to +50 ppm, and wherein a X-ray diffraction pattern of the zeolite exhibits diffraction peaks corresponding to d-spacing of 12.4±0.2, 11.0±0.3, 9.3±0.3, 6.8±0.2, 6.1±0.2, 5.5±0.2, 4.4±0.2, 4.0±0.2 and 3.4±0.1 Å. The porous zeolite can be used as an adsorbent or as a component of a catalyst for the conversion of an organic compound.
