    摘要: A computer-implemented method for retrieving information from a dataset of multiple records includes the steps of receiving a search phrase from a user or client application, the search phrase having a query keyword prefix, and traversing a multilayered spatial tree using the query keyword prefix until a termination condition occurs. The multilayered spatial tree is constructed using geographic information and has a root node and a plurality of child nodes including a plurality of leaf nodes. Each leaf node is associated with a corresponding list of records. At least some of the nodes are each associated with a corresponding hybrid filter including an object filter and a child filter. The object filter directly points to one or more records, and the child filter points to one or more child nodes for a subsequent traversal step.

    摘要: One aspect of this disclosure relates generally to lipid compounds that exert diverse effects in the endocannabinoid system, such as regulating CB1 and CB2 receptor or moderating other bio-macromolecules within the endocannabinoid system. Some of the compounds showed improved receptor binding affinity, and/or improved receptor subtype selectivity, and improved bio-stability. Some of the compounds exhibit activities to regulate the enzymes that moderate the bio-disposal of endogenous cannabinoids, such as the fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH). Some of the compounds exhibit activities to inhibit the anandamide transporter. Other aspects of the invention are pharmaceutical preparations employing these ligands and methods of administering therapeutically effective amounts of the preparations to provide a physiological effect.

    摘要: A histone deacetylase gene OsHDT1 which enhances utilization of heterosis in rice is isolated and cloned, said gene consisting of: 1) the DNA sequence of positions 1-894 in SEQ ID NO:1 in the Sequence listing; or 2) a DNA sequence which encodes the same protein as that encoded by the DNA sequence of 1). The histone deacetylase gene OsHDT1 is associated with enhanced utilization of heterosis in rice. When the transgenic plants having no phenotype were crossed with “Zhenshan 97A”, the F1 overexpression hybrid plants have obviously earlier flowering period than F1 wild-type hybrid plants. Moreover, the RNAi inhibition hybrid plants have a decreased seed setting rate compared to the negative control hybrid plants, while the parent RNAi inhibition plants and negative control plants shows no evident difference in the trait of seed setting rate. Western blotting revealed that the gene is capable of deacetylating histone, mainly at H4K16 site. In addition, there exist significant differences in the level of histone modification among “Minghui 63”, “Zhenshan 97” and “Shanyou63”.

In accordance with one embodiment, the single-pass bounding box calculation includes rendering a first target to a 2-dimensional screen space, whereby the first target includes at least six pixels. The calculation further includes producing transformed vertices in a set of geometry primitives based on an application-specified transformation. The calculation also includes generating six new points for each transformed vertex in the set of geometry primitives. The calculation additionally includes producing an initial third coordinate value for each pixel by rendering the at least six new points generate for each pixel to each corresponding pixel. The calculation further includes producing a post-rasterization value for each pixel by rasterizing the at least six new points rendered to each pixel with each corresponding pixel. Finally, the calculation includes computing bounding box information for the set of geometry primitives based on the produced third coordinate values.

    摘要: A computer process, called VGRAM, improves the performance of these string search algorithms in computers by using a carefully chosen dictionary of variable-length grams based on their frequencies in the string collection. A dynamic programming algorithm for computing a tight lower bound on the number of common grams shared by two similar strings in order to improve query performance is disclosed. A method for automatically computing a dictionary of high-quality grams for a workload of queries. Improvement on query performance is achieved by these techniques by a cost-based quantitative approach to deciding good grams for approximate string queries. An approach for answering approximate queries efficiently based on discarding gram lists, and another is based on combining correlated lists. An indexing structure is reduced to a given amount of space, while retaining efficient query processing by using algorithms in a computer based on discarding gram lists and combining correlated lists.
