Abstract:
Internal valve apparatus are described. An example internal valve includes a body having a valve seat disposed in a fluid flow passageway between an inlet and an outlet. A flow control member is operatively coupled to the body and movable between a first position to engage the valve seat to restrict fluid flow through the valve and a second position to move away from the valve seat to allow fluid flow through the valve. A removable actuator is coupled to the body and operatively coupled to the flow control member to cause the flow control member to move between the first and second positions. A portion of the removable actuator is cantilevered in the fluid flow passageway between the inlet and the outlet when the removable actuator is coupled to the body.

A new class of compounds containing aza-dibenzothiophene or aza-dibenzofuran are provided. The compounds may be used in organic light emitting devices giving improved stability, improved efficiency, long lifetime and low operational voltage. In particular, the compounds may be used as the host material of an emissive layer having a host and an emissive dopant, or as a material in an enhancement layer.
Abstract:
Organic light emitting materials and devices comprising phosphorescent metal complexes comprising ligands comprising aryl or heteroaryl groups substituted at both ortho positions are described. An organic light emitting device, comprising: an anode; a hole transport layer; an organic emissive layer comprising an emissive layer host and an emissive dopant; an electron impeding layer; an electron transport layer; and a cathode disposed, in that order, over a substrate.
Abstract:
Novel heteroleptic iridium carbene complexes are provided. The complexes have lower-than expected sublimation temperatures, which is beneficial for the processing of these materials in solid state applications. Selective substitution of the ligands provides for phosphorescent compounds that are suitable for use in a variety of OLED devices. The carbene complexes can also be used as materials in a hole blocking layer and/or an electron transport layer to improve device performance.
Abstract:
Phosphorescent materials are provided, where the materials comprise a coordination compound having at least one ligand L3 having Formula (I): wherein A and B are each independently a 5-membered or 6-membered carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring; wherein RA, RB, RC, and RD each represent mono, di, tri, tetra substitutions, or no substitution; wherein Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4, Z5, Z6, Z7, and Z8 are each selected from N or C; wherein at least one of Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4, Z5, Z6, Z7, and Z8 is N; wherein one of Z1, Z2, Z3, and Z4 is C that is bonded to N of A; wherein Z is selected from the group consisting of BR, NR, PR, O, S, Se, C═O, S═O, SO2, CRR′, SiRR′, and GeRR′; wherein R, R′, RA, RB, RC, and RD are described herein; wherein L3 is coordinated to a metal M1; and wherein L3 may be linked with other ligands to comprise a tridentate, tetradentate, pentadentate, or hexadentate ligand. Devices, such as organic light emitting devices, comprising such compounds are also provided.

Triphenylene containing benzo-fused thiophene compounds are provided. Additionally, triphenylene containing benzo-fused furan compounds are provided. The compounds may be useful in organic light emitting devices, particularly as hosts in the emissive layer of such devices, or as materials for enhancement layers in such devices, or both.
Abstract:
Redundant metal-to-metal seals for use with internal valves are described. A plug having redundant sealing functionality for use with a poppet of an internal valve includes a tapered surface to sealingly engage a seat of the poppet. Additionally, the plug includes a seal adjacent the tapered surface and disposed in a groove defined by the plug to sealingly engage the seat.
Abstract:
Internal valve apparatus are described. An example internal valve includes a body having a valve seat disposed between an inlet and an outlet. A flow control member operatively coupled to the body moves between a first position in which the flow control member engages the valve seat to restrict the flow of fluid through the valve and a second position in which the flow control member is spaced from the valve seat to allow the flow of fluid through the valve. The example internal valve further includes a removable actuation member disposed within the body and responsive to a fluid pressure to cause the flow control member to move between the first and second positions.
Abstract:
Carbazole-containing compounds are provided. In particular, the compounds are oligocarbazole-containing compounds having an unsymmetrical structure. The compounds may be useful in organic light emitting devices, in particular as hosts in the emissive layer of such devices.
Abstract:
A ring mechanism for retaining loose-leaf pages comprises a housing and hinge plates supported by the housing for pivoting motion relative to the housing. Rings for retaining the loose-leaf pages comprise ring members mounted on the hinge plates for movement with the hinge plates between an open and closed position. An actuator mounted on the housing is moveable between a first position in which the ring members are open and a second position in which the ring members are closed. The actuator is in continuous engagement with the hinge plates when the ring members are closed resisting movement of the actuator. A travel bar is operatively connected to the actuator for movement with the actuator. The travel bar resists movement of the actuator when the ring members are open.
