Abstract: An article with a can and a dispenser, the can having a valve with a valve cup, valve stem housing and depressible valve stem and the dispenser having a base, a straw attached to the base, a sleeve extending over at least a portion of the straw, a trigger hingedly attached to the base and/or straw at a hinge point with a trigger section that engages the sleeve above the hinge point and a trigger arm that extends below the hinge point, and a plunger extending through a side of the base and into a flow channel of the dispenser while maintaining fluid communication through and/or around the plunger within the flow channel of the dispenser where the dispenser is attachable to the can by inserting the stationary valve stem housing into the flow channel of the dispenser base while inserting the dispenser base into the valve cup.

Abstract: A dispensing device for attaching to a container having a valve stem includes: (a) a hollow tube having a flow channel defined by a wall extending between entrance and exit ends with a connector on the entrance end for connecting to the valve stem; (b) a sleeve extending slidably over a portion of the hollow tube, the sleeve extending over, and having an opening proximate to, the hollow tube's exit end; (c) a sealing gasket around the outside of the hollow tube and between the hollow tube and the sleeve that prevents fluid communication past the gasket between the hollow tube and sleeve; (d) a trigger mount rigidly attached to the hollow tube or container; (e) a trigger hingedly connected at a first location to the trigger mount and operatively engaged with the sleeve at a second location; and (f) an elastic element between the trigger and the hollow tube and/or container.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a dispenser for pressurized material. In an embodiment, the dispenser for pressurized material includes a container half having an exposed edge and a closure member at the exposed edge. The container half has a cup half in an interior top portion. The dispenser includes a reciprocal container half having a reciprocal exposed edge and a reciprocal closure member at the reciprocal exposed edge. The reciprocal container half has a reciprocal cup half in an interior top portion. The closure member and the reciprocal closure member matingly engage along the exposed edges to attach the container half to the reciprocal container half and form a container. The dispenser includes a sleeve bag on valve (SBoV) assembly in an interior of the container. The SBoV assembly includes a valve seat. The cup and the reciprocal cup support the valve seat to secure the SBoV assembly in the container.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a seal bar. In an embodiment, the seal bar comprises a base member having a flat front surface and a flat recessed surface a distance (d) behind the front surface. The front surface defines an x-axis, X. The flat recessed surface has a first endpoint (A1), wherein an axis that is perpendicular to the flat recessed surface at the first endpoint (A1) defines a first y-axis (Y1). The seal bar has a concave surface extending the distance (d) between the first endpoint (A1) and a point (B1) on the flat front surface. The concave surface defines a quadrant arc segment of an ellipse between the first endpoint (A1) and the point (B1).

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a container and a process for producing the container. In an embodiment, the process includes placing a sleeve bag on valve assembly (SBoV) in a blow mold apparatus. The blow mold apparatus has two opposing and movable molds. The SBoV has a valve seat. The process includes extending a parison of flowable polymeric material around the SBoV and between the opposing molds. The process includes moving the opposing molds to a closed position and pressing an upstream portion of the parison against the valve seat. The process includes blow molding a downstream portion of the parison into a container-shape within the closed mold. The process includes forming a container with the valve seat melt bonded to a neck portion of the container.

Abstract: A flexible container (10) is disclosed. The flexible container (10) includes four panels (18, 20, 22, 24), each panel comprising a flexible multilayer film. Each flexible multilayer film is composed of a polymeric material. The four panels form (i) a body, (ii) a neck, and (iii) a handle. The handle (12) has an upper handle portion (12a) and a pair of spaced-apart legs (13, 15). The legs extend from the upper handle portion to the body on opposing sides of the neck. The flexible container includes a fitment (70) sealed to the neck. The flexible container includes a dispensing pump (100) attached to the fitment. The flexible container can provide a metered dose from a dispensing pump and the dispensing pump can also function as a handle to hand-carry the flexible container.
