摘要: In an EL element driving circuit, a fly back pulse generating circuit receives an electric power from a DC power source through a coil and generates fly back pulses by a switching circuit. The electric power of the fly back pulses is supplied to the EL element as a charging electric power and a current which flows from the DC power source to the coil by the switching operation of the switching circuit is controlled by an adjusting circuit which adjusts the ON period of the switching circuit within a period substantially corresponding to a period after the switching circuit is turned ON and until the current maximizes.

摘要: A method and apparatus for assembling a hub for magnetically chucking an optical disc on a disc table of a recording/reproducing apparatus under a force of magnetic attraction includes an assembly guide member having a first guide portion movable in a direction perpendicular to one major surface of the disc substrate so as to be engaged in a center opening in the disc substrate, and a second guide portion formed integrally with the first guide portion so that its center axis is aligned with the distal end of the first guide portion. The second guide portion is fitted in a spindle shaft opening in the hub. The assembly guide member having its first guide portion fitted in the center opening for positioning the disc substrate and the second guide portion being engaged in this state in the spindle shaft opening for centering the disc substrate with respect to the hub. The disc substrate and the hub may be assembled together in the correctly centered state via the assembly guide member by a simplified operation with minimum cost, thus assuring reduction in investment cost and improved productivity. In addition, the centering between the disc substrate and the hub, which usually required time-consuming laborious operation, may be achieved easily by employing the assembly guide member, so that the assembly process may be simplified thus lowering the cost of the disc-shaped recording medium.

摘要: A voice data output apparatus for an electronic cash register comprises in turn a voice output circuit which in turn judges as to whether or not the input money data is a first registered number and which outputs a greeting voice, e.g., "WELCOME" when it is in fact the first registered number. A CPU is connected to an input circuit, a print circuit, a display circuit, a RAM and the voice output circuit through chip designating signal lines, an R/W signal line, an address bus line, and a data bus line. Chip designating signals are supplied from the CPU to the above-mentioned respective circuits for selecting a circuit to be used among these circuits. The display circuit and the voice output circuit are selected by the same chip designating signal. When a first registered number of the money data is input from the input circuit, the voice output circuit outputs a voice "WELCOME" according to the data "1" stored in a flag storing region of the CPU of this circuit, and thereafter rewrites the content of the flag storing region to "0". When a CASH/MONEY RECEIVED KEY of the input section of the input circuit is operated, the content of the flag storing region is rewritten to "1" for waiting for input of the money data for a next customer.

摘要: In a method of stopping an operation of a water electrolysis system, an on-off valve disposed in a pressure release line communicating with a cathode side of an electrolytic membrane is opened while an electrolytic current is applied between power feeders to electrolyze water for generating oxygen on an anode side of the electrolytic membrane and high pressure hydrogen having a higher pressure than a pressure of the oxygen on the cathode side. A value of the electrolytic current is reduced in a predetermined cycle or continuously. One of a specific resistance and conductivity of water to be supplied to the high pressure hydrogen producing apparatus is detected. The value of the electrolytic current is increased if the specific resistance is equal to or lower than a first predetermined value, or if the conductivity is equal to or higher than a second predetermined value.
