    Abstract: A system and method for managing wireless devices in a wireless network that performs operations comprising: receiving a request to determine at least one offer related to a quota for a wireless device from a charging gateway of the wireless network during a packet data session established between the wireless device and the wireless network; retrieving contextual information associated with the wireless device from a database of the wireless network; determining a plurality of offers including the at least one offer for the wireless device based on the contextual information; transmitting the plurality of offers to the wireless device; receiving a confirmation that the wireless device has selected the at least one offer from the wireless device; and transmitting the confirmation of the selection of the at least one offer to the charging gateway during the packet data session.

    Abstract: A computer system (100) and method for the storage, archiving, query and retrieval of information relating to 3D objects is provided. The système includes data acquisition (130) means for requiring point coordinate data about a three-dimensional object, a database component (105), a processor (103) and a user interface (110). The processor (103) is operable to generate modeled data (105) from the point coordinate data and to segment the modeled data (124) into feature data (122) representing a plurality of features of the object (118). The data is organized so that features of the 3D objects can be automatically extracted for online query and retrieval. The user interface (110) is operative with the processor (103) to allow a user input search criteria to processor (103) and to display data retrieved by the processor as a representation of an object feature.

    Abstract: Presented is a design for a High-Torque, Low Speed, Vertical_Axis, Flux Rotator, designed primarily to function in a low velocity, uniform, homotropic flow with the axis of rotation vertical to the flow and co-incident to the gradient of the gravitational field. It follows from Australian Commonwealth Government Patent 2112100575, The Flux Rotator. The design modifications are intended to help the stationary turbine start in a very slow velocity fluid without a ‘kick-start’ and improve performances at those lower speeds. For measurement and energy transfer applications the new design will work in a wide variety of liquids and gasses, in a wide range of fluid viscosity's and temperatures.

    Abstract: A control unit, connected to a telephone, sends tone signals to a central dictating/recording unit in response to a user pressing buttons on an auxiliary keypad. The auxiliary keypad, in the form of a thin, membrane-type switch unit, adheres to the back of the telephone handset. A substitute coil cord has additional conductors and connects the telephone handset and the auxiliary keypad to the control unit. In response to the user pressing a button on the auxiliary keypad, the control unit simulates the user pressing one or more buttons on the telephone dial by sending the appropriate series of DTMF tones to the dictating/recording unit. The user can reprogram the simulated series of telephone dial button presses sent in response to any auxiliary keypad button being pressed, released, and "clicked" (pressed and then quickly released).
