Abstract: Silicon oxide and electrically conductive doped silicon materials are sintered in a protective environment to yield a composite SiOx:Si material that exhibits the properties of SiOx, and yet is electrically conductive due to the presence of Si. Such a composite material finds many uses, such as a target for DC and/or AC sputtering processes to produce silicon oxide thin films for touch-screen applications, barrier thin films in LCD displays and optical thin films used in a wide variety of applications.

Abstract: A method for providing a virtual replenishing of a supply item with an imaging substance includes the steps communicating to a database a first serial number associated with a first supply item; comparing the first serial number with a plurality of serial numbers stored in the database; receiving from the database one of a first data indicating non-correspondence between the first serial number with one of the plurality of serial numbers and a second data indicating correspondence between the first serial number with one of the plurality of serial numbers, wherein the second data includes a verification key; and if the verification key corresponds to the first key stored in the memory associated with the first supply item, then performing the step of allocating at least a portion of a surplus amount of the imaging substance contained in the first supply item for use.

Abstract: A light emitting element structure and a circuit thereof are provided. The light emitting element circuit includes a driving unit and a light emitting element. The driving unit is used for generating a driving current at a light emission period. The light emitting element includes a current transferring unit and a light emitting unit. The current transferring unit is connected with the driving unit to transfer the driving current and generate a light emitting current at the light emission period. The light emitting unit is connected with the current transferring unit and emits light in response to the light emitting current. Abstract: A method and device for providing a plurality of fire pulses in an ink jet printer, which includes a production of a plurality of fire signals. Each fire signal of the plurality of fire signals are asserted at a different timing than the other of the plurality of fire signals. The plurality of fire signals are combined to form a composite fire signal that maintains the different timing.

Abstract: A pattern implementation technique in which a pattern is defined as a software artifact that comprises a pattern signature representing one or more parameters of the pattern and a pattern implementation model representing one or more methods for expanding the pattern in a selected software context by assigning one or more arguments to the one or more parameters. The pattern implementation model can be based on one or more framework code sets, each of which supports the creation of plural patterns by providing a pattern implementation model for a particular software context. The framework code sets can be rendered extensible by a pattern author by virtue of providing methods whose code is adapted to be modified by a pattern author when defining a pattern. The pattern can be applied by creating an instance of the pattern in a software context and presenting a graphical representation of the pattern instance that can be manipulated by the pattern user in order to apply arguments to the pattern parameters.
