Abstract:
A piezo actuator includes an adaptation element, which is configured to adapt the piezo actuator to a controller for inductive loads, particularly to a converter for actuating inductive loads. The adaptation element allows use of controllers or converters of numerical control systems, which normally are used for actuating servo motors. Therefore it is no longer necessary to provide specially designed hardware for the actuation of piezo actuators, but instead the above-mentioned controllers can be used. Furthermore, as a result of the adaptation element, the piezo actuators can be integrated in the bus of the numerical control system. This allows communication in real time via the NC bus.
Abstract:
In a magnetic bearing arrangement, support coils are connected in series and can be fed with a current. By coupling a point connecting the two support coils to a voltage source, the support coils can be used as actuating elements and, by feeding the support coils with voltage pulses, the inductance of the support coils can be inferred which is an indication of the position of the body to be mounted. This provides for a position control arrangement. Using one and the same support coils, both a stably controlled load-bearing capacity can thus be produced and at the same time a position sensor can be replaced.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for decoupling an attachment (7a, 7b, 7c, 7d) from a moving machine element (4) of a machine tool, production machine or of a robot. In order to carry out the decoupling, the attachment (7a, 7b, 7c, 7d) is joined to the machine element (4) via a damping device (13). The invention provides a simple device for decoupling an attachment from a moving machine element of a machine tool, production machine or of a robot.
Abstract:
A device for compensating a torque produced on a movable axle in a machine tool or production machine by a gyrostatic effect includes a rotating useful machine system attached to the movable axle and producing a useful angular momentum, and a rotating machine counter-system attached to the axle and producing a counter angular momentum. The magnitude of the counter angular momentum is substantially identical to the magnitude of the useful angular momentum. The useful torque produced by a movement of the rotating useful machine system through a temporal change of the useful angular momentum is at least partially compensated by a counter-torque produced by a temporal change of the counter angular momentum. This arrangement represents a simple device for compensating a torque produced by the gyrostatic effect on a movable axle of machine tolls and production machines.
Abstract:
A synchronous linear motor with primary part having a winding and a secondary part including an elongated bearing plate to which the pre-magnetized permanent magnets of brittle and corrosion-prone material, are firmly adhesively secured while maintaining the pole pitch grid. In order to be able to securely bond the pre-magnetized permanent magnets to the secondary part economically and with high precision, it is proposed that spacers (2,3) corresponding to the pole pitch grid of the synchronous linear motor be arranged between pre-magnetized permanent magnets (4).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a magnetic bearing control device and the use of a three-phase converter for controlling a magnetic bearing. According to the invention, a three-phase converter (70) is used for controlling a magnetic bearing (10, 66, 68), all three phase currents (40, 42, 44) of the converter (70) being used for controlling the magnetic bearing (10, 66, 68). A first solenoid of a couple of solenoids (10) of the magnetic bearing (10, 66, 68) is connected to a first (U) and a third (W) phase current output of the converter (70) while a second solenoid of the couple of solenoids (10) is connected to the first (U) and a second (V) phase current output of the converter such that the couple of solenoids (10) can be differently controlled by means of said one converter (70). The converter (70) can also be connected to magnetic bearings that already have a bias winding, which is advantageous for retrofitting such existing magnetic bearings, for example.
Abstract:
A drive apparatus with at least one synchronous motor, a converter and a mechanical energy buffer able to be fed from an energy supply network, which, for converting mechanical energy into electrical current, includes a first asynchronous machine, and a method of operation for such a drive apparatus are specified, with which or in which the energy buffer, especially its first asynchronous machine is directly electrically connected via a switchover device to the at least one synchronous motor, so that the converter included in the drive apparatus is bypassed for such a switch position of the switchover device and the converter accordingly does not have to be designed for currents which flow in such a switch position of the switchover device.

The invention relates to a synchronous motor (12) with a number of stator coils (15), with a rotor (16) with at least one permanent magnet (17), which induces a rotor magnetic field in a useful flux direction and with at least one coil winding (20), which is fitted on the rotor in order to induce a resultant magnetic field as a result of an alternating magnetic fields which is applied with the aid of the stator coils, in the direction of a winding axis of the coil winding, so that a resultant inductance of the stator coils (15) with respect to a direction of the winding axis is different given different positions of the rotor (16).
