    Abstract: Systems and methods for sharing protected media content are provided. Protected media content can be shared when at least a first and second user are proximately located. The first and second user can be bound or paired based on one or more identification indicia associated with first and second user devices utilized, owned, or operated by the first and second users, respectively. Upon pairing, media content from the first and second users' media content libraries can be shared. Additionally, proximate location can be leveraged to surface media content to other users, giving such other users the opportunity to discover new media content, and otherwise engage in transactions involving the new media content. Further still, the most popular media content associated with the second user or group of users proximate to the first user can be determined and used to prompt further interaction or display information regarding such popular media content.

    Abstract: Implementations of the disclosure describe AI systems that offer an improvisational story telling AI agent that may interact collaboratively with a user. In one implementation, a story telling device may be implemented using i) a natural language understanding (NLU) component to process human language input (e.g., digitized speech or text input); ii) a natural language processing (NLP) component to parse the human language input into a story segment or sequence; iii) a component for storing/recording the story as it is created by collaboration; iv) a component for generating AI-suggested story elements; and v) a natural language generation (NLG) component to transform the AI-generated story segment into natural language that may be presented to the user.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described for linking and interacting between augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) environments. An AR host system may capture or retrieve data associated with an AR view of a first user's real-world environment. The data may include an audio-visual stream of the real-world view, digital object data associated with digital objects overlaid on the real-world view, and other data. The AR host system transmits the data to a VR system. The VR system may place a second user into a VR environment that is a representation of the AR view. The VR system may also generate additional digital object data associated with the AR view and transmit the generated digital object data to the AR host system. The AR host system receives the digital object data and modifies the AR view presented to the first user.

    Abstract: A process verifies, with a processor, a user account for content delivery with a rolling slot configuration. The rolling slot configuration has a maximum quantity of available slots for devices authorized to receive content. The rolling slot configuration has a plurality of ordered slots that are ordered based upon priority. The process receives a request for content from the user account at a device. The process automatically registers the device in an available slot of the rolling slot configuration based upon a determination of slot availability. The process authorizes the device to play content associated with a user entitlement. The process automatically deauthorizes the device to play the content based upon a deauthorization parameter being met. The process removes a registration of the device from the available slot. The process moves a registration of an additional device with a higher priority than the device to the available slot.

    Abstract: A process provides a multi-device display configuration. The process receives, at a master device, one or more device parameters from a plurality of display devices. The process also determines, at the master device, an arrangement of the plurality of display devices that provides a multi-device display. Further, the process sends, from the master device, one or more display indicia to the plurality of display devices that each of the plurality of display devices displays to allow one or more users to position the plurality of display devices in the arrangement. The process sends, from the master device, a first portion of the content to a first display device, and a second portion of the content to a second display device for the first and second display devices to simultaneously display the first and second portions of the content.
